My latest email to them dated 2.10.2010....

As agreed last Monday, I am forwarding to you a short list of Toyota owners who may have problems or concern with their D4D engine. Please communicate with them through the Customer Service team of TMP. Let me know when it is best to meet up again for a follow through of our first meeting so we may track our progress. Next week is fine by me, we should have accomplished something by then.

    More power.

    Best,

The attachment contains the name of the owner or handle in the forums, their mobile number , concerns, and boards where it was sourced.

    Hope this helps peeps....

I dont think there would be any problem if you dont turn off your a/c befoe starting the engine. That is if your a/c is analogue.

But with a climate control system that has a lot of electronic logic control ek ek that monitors the temp, starting the engine will produce a sudden voltage drop when the starter cranks then quickly rises when the alternator kicks in. Electronics circuits are very sensitive to voltage fluctuations.

There is also the matter of additional load to the starter when you crank your engine with an engage a/c compressor.

So far in more than 3 years wala akong problema sa AC at malamig pa rin naman kahit nasa lowest cool selector. Puede di naman On and OFF if you prefer it that way, it is just a matter of preference IMO.

I red kasi somewhere that constant on and off can wear off switch contacts and sometimes it is hard to find replacement part for AC switches. Ganito na practice ko na hindi nagpapatay ng AC kahit magpapatay ng makina ever since kaya kahit yung 11 year old Lancer namin ganoon din ang practice namin sa AC so far buo pa lahat ng AC control switches.

Thank you Mr. Mile for your thought.

I have just acquired my 2010 Innova G M/T VVTi. As per specification printed at the tank cover, fuel to be used shall be unleaded gasoline, so I decided to use the Caltex Silver. Said gasoline has 10% ethanol. So far wala namang problema, pati yung hatak, ok na ok naman. So far my top speed during this break-in period reached 150 kph at Skyway.

some break-in actually differ per driver; since some driver do believe in hard break-in due to some theory that they believe, that is almost being served as a fact.... but some drivers do follow proper break-in as per manual.....

its all in your discretion and proper handling of your vehicle, its your vehicle anyway....

hi guys! 2 questions: did you wait sa casa during your innova's 1k and 5k pms? change oil lang ba ginagawa for both 1k and 5k pms?

mine's approching 5k soon, and last 1k pms I jus left it over at the casa in the morning and got our driver to pick it up in the afternoon. It costed me P4000 too. is this normal? mineral oil lang and they didn't even wash my innova.

pag 4k inabot sayo, dapat yan full synthetic na. complete with new oil filter, and yung chek up ng disc brakes, steering linkages, transmission fluids, etc....with car wash... dapat kasi papakita mo sa kanila na nanoood ka, make sure na ginawa nila lahat yung nasa cheklist sa job order....

so you stay and watch your innova being serviced? i thought we weren't allowed in the garage.. i thought full synthetic na din buh its just mineral oil. and oh! i remembered, they did check the differential and transmission fluid. it was during ondoy kasi so i guess they checked for precautions? then again 4k?

*shibby, capsaul and attyallan, so dapat P1600 na lang for my upcoming 5k pms?

According to some expert and with knowledge kung pano ilabas ng casa ang mga new cars, those are already passed the break-in period. And also passed the quality control. Yan din ang sabi sa kin nung manager na nagbenta sa kin ng unit ko. Gusto ko kasi sanayin ko na medyo matulin tutal kaya naman ng engine. Mr. Mile, your opinion please. Alam ko medyo malawak ang kaalaman mo when it comes to cars. TY

POLYGLAZE Dash & Trim Care ang gamit ko. Pwede yan sa vinyl, plastic, & rubber. Ok gamitin, nagmumukhang bago palagi ung parts na nilagyan nito. Sa ACE Hardware ko nabili 'to.

don't clean the interior with harsh chemicals... mild soap and water lang using
chamois and let it dry thorougly....

using chemicals might discolor your interior...
