Hello,

I ordered an Innova and i just knew that it doesnt come with a mud guard. Do you think it is advisable to buy one? Some people say they dont like having it because it would be harder to clean.

mga sir, sa mga nakpakabit na ng cabin filter jan, tanong ko lang, bumili kasi ako ng cabin filter and filter panel (2005 model kasi sa akin) after ko baklasin yung glove box, walang butas yung paglalagyan ng filter, yung filter panel na nabili ko is yung door lang, pano ninyo binutasan sa inyo?

Also, may mas madali ba na way tanggalin yung glove box? :D

sir ganyan din yung sa akin walang mud guard... parang mas maganda tingnan macho,,, kasi pag may mud guard parang babae na nakasaya

mga sir ask ko lang kung mas malakas sa fuel consumption ang unit na bagong break in lang? parang nalalakasan ako sa gas consumption eh ...

i found this... at page 391

i would say both diesel ang gas engine would consume more fuel during the break in period.

parang nabasa ko somewhere dito na habang tumatagal dapat mag iimprove ung comsumption, kung bagong break in give it some more mileage try lang naman.

mine is still in break in period pero ive got 8 km/l , sometimes its in the foot.

ako expected ko na din naman ang FC ng gas Innova, di ba typical naman sa mga 2.0 engines ang 7-8km/l na konsumo?

may i share lang ako na experience ko kasi yesterday upon
close inspection sa engine bay may nakita ako sa loob parang
bath soap na nginatngat ng daga together with a small bone di ko alam
kung anong buto ito parang sa baka , kita ko sya likod ng left headlight...
tapos dun sa may clutch assembly may naka stuck ng used plastic labo...
in doubt ako ngayon kung from casa eh andun na iyon or sa garahe namin
nanggaling yun... ano sa tingin nyo ? i believed yung mga units na nasa planta
nasa labas lang naaarawa at nahahamugan dun... possible kaya na may nag
habit na daga inside engine bay before ma pull out yung unit?

about sa radiator water...
sa corolla 92 ko kasi never pa ako nag lagay ng tubig sa radiator nya,
replenish ko lang lagi yung coolant reservoir... never nag overheat
sya...pag open ko ng radiator cap always full to the brim sya...
then may nabasa ako dito about mineral or distilled water for
radiator? ? ?

and ano pala ang coolant na gamit sa toyota casa???

if I am not mistaken, for new released vehicle(s) now; not only Toyota; they dont come with a mud guard.....
mud guard may now be considered as an aftermarket add-ons.....
installing a mud guard.... its really all up to you..... it may be very useful for rainy-stormy months here in our country (June-Aug); since mud guard tries to eliminate your side fender free from mud, dirt, etc. thats why it is called a mud guard...

could be.... but you're also right since released vehicle from the plant is just merely in the showroom and outside the dealer.... or baka naman sa planta pa yan ng Toyota.....
havent you noticed that when the vehicle was released?
how long is the vehicle in your possession? if days, then report it to your dealer-SA..

I just noticed that coolant coming fresh from the dealer is colored reddish pink; I am not sure with the brand though.... this coolant is hard to find in the market, since most coolant is colored blue.....

I just noticed that coolant coming fresh from the dealer is colored reddish pink; I am not sure with the brand though.... this coolant is hard to find in the market, since most coolant is colored blue.....

sa caltex reddish din yung coolant. may nagsabi sa akin before na oil daw ng toyota galing sa caltex. repacked lang. so may chance din na galing sa caltex ang coolant nila

the cabin filter will filter the air inside the cabin :D

Sir pakabit mo na lang sa casa, more or less you need to poke out the rectangular cover by blade cutter.

Since you mentioned you already had filter door panel, try to see if you can DIY it or else when in doubt ask help from your SA.

You will need to press both side of the globe compartment to release the hooks on both sides.

Im Planning to buy an brandnew Innova this Feb. Pero dahil may kamahalan ang E at G models, I will settle for the basic J 2.5 D4d diesel. Sa naka D4D po sa inyo, ok po ba ang makinang ito? although Im using diesel engine for the past 8yrs (4D56 intercooler turbo-Pajero). Hindi po ba mahirap maintenance ng 2.5 D4D-turbo CRDi ng toyota?

Advisable po ba bumili at magpakabit ng central door locks, alarm at foglamps sa labas? Hindi kaya mavoid ang warranty?(Sensya na po dahil 1st time bibili ng brandnew. San kaya maganda at mura bumili ng roofrail w/rack, bullbars at Mags?

Sa Casa ka nalang magpalagay ng Central Door Lock, Alarm at kung ano ano pa. Ang alam ko sa Toyota Pasong Tamo may package sila sa Central Door Lock at Alarm at Keyless Entry. Mavovoid kasi ang warranty mo pag di sa kasa. Bibigyan ka kasi ng warranty booklet. At dun nakarecord kung ano ang mga ginawa sa kotse. Ngayon kung nagpalagay ka sa labas at wala naman sa warranty booklet mo. Alam na nila yun na na hindi ka sa casa nagpakabit. Void na Warranty mo nun.
