gud pm po... first ive been watching a lot this forum even before ko pa makuha ang innova e ko, and i can say that this forum has been a HUGE help for me at i bet LOTS and LOTS of people, kayat more power!!! now like someone posted here i while ago i came from a lancer, we have to lancers in fact, a 97 and 2000 model, now ask ko lang po, kung ilan and idle nung nakuha nyo ung innova nyo guys... ?kc ung sa akin nasa 1.5, sa gitna ng 1000 and 2000 rpm, is this normal? i mean do i need to lower it a little base on a innova profile kc ung lancer ko naman nasa ALMOST 1000 rpms lang kc para matipid, by the way kakukuha ko lang ng innova ko last monday so theres a lot to be learned... and another thing pala, why is it na feel ko yung vibration sa shift stick ko? kc sa lahat ng nadrive ko ito lang ung feel na feel ko ang vibration ng makina sa shift stick, lalu na pag first gear, nakikita ko nagshe shake talaga sya literally, i have an innova E gas M/T. thanks in advance.
Sedan has cable connected transmission shifter kaya di mo feel ang vibration ng makina, while the Innova has the shifter literally on top of the transmission and the tramission is literally bolted on the engine kaya you will feel the engine vibration from the transmission shifter.
Anything you noted that is not normal to your expectation, just tell it to your SA in the next PMS so that they could explain them to you in details.
Enjoy your ride and safe driving![]()
Innova G and V has the KM/li (average) on the MID console (Multi Information Display).
You can actually do manual computation by having a full tank and noting the Odometer reading, then on your second full tank compute the difference on the odometer reading and divide that on the number of refilled liters.
there might be a factory defect on the transmission shifter. My Innova is already 5 years old at 70TKM. at 40Tkm total run, i can hear a grinding sounds sa stick at 5th gear at a speed of 50km/hr.
sent my Inno to my trusted mechanic, ang result, sira na daw shifter bushing. Some cars, at 10 years old or older, ni walang problema sa shifter bushings, etc.
Have you ever experinced this on your Innova's? (manual po).
quick question mga sirs, pag nagpalit ba ako ng HU mawawala un remote function nun SW remote? innova G un ride mga sirs...
kailangan pa ba i-break-in ang innova pagkabili? i think i didn't see anything about this in the manual... also, pag start, do you wait for the temp to normalize or go na agad.. sa vios, manual says after 10 seconds, pwede na paandarin..
well, as for me meron as manual ko, at page 218,
as for temp normalize question, meron lang ako napansin sa innova ko, pag ka start ko specially ung first start ignition of the day, parang ang lakas ng hinga ng makina, i mean para naka tungtong ung paa mo sa gas even not, parang its doing it by itself, it happens the first few seconds, I think (sa akin lang ewan ko if it is true idea lang) i think its warming itself, kc after ilang second dahan dahan na syang hihina ung hinga, so i assume yes pwede na agad as long as na perform na nya lahat ng test (na sa heads up display) like ABS and airbag check etc.., i think pwede na agad pa aandarin.
hope it helps.

I do believe, that, the answer is YES or even could be that it is a must, in order for the owner to check on the performance of the engine on the vehicle purchased..... thats why PMS is there; for Toyota to check on things that needs topmost concern on the vehicle(s) breakin period
if I am not mistaken, I do believe that all motorized vehicle needs to undergo a breakin period when a vehicle is newly purchased and when vehicle has been overhauled.....
newbie here... got mine yesterday black g vvti...
thanks....
Good thing is hanggang doon lang kasi overall, tahimik at walang vibration sa dashboard. Siguro ina-absorbed na ng kambyo ang lahat ng nginig, "take one for the team" hehe.
800 rpm idle, 900rpm kung may aircon, even as low as 700rpm pag-nagpapalit ng gear (diko alam kung bakit) naparang mamamatay hehe. Wag muna pababain yung idling, 'di kakayanin, baka masira pa yan.
hope this helps.

Lahat ng top of the line may ganyan. Kala siguro nila class tignan, di nila alam mas nagiging cheap. Pede mo tanggalin, pero baka mawala warranties mo.
Hayaan mo masasanay ka rin haha. Mas malala ang fake wood triming ngayon, mas matingkad, 'di tulad noong lumang G medyo dark hehe

if I am not mistaken, since G variant is one of the top line of Innova; it really has a wood trimming and even could be a wooden dashboard to have it's class look; to be something different amongst other variant of Innova....
if you peel it off; it might leave some mark and might not look good on your Innova..... you can try to live with it and no worry I do believe at some point of time, you'll get used to it...
