si misis nabangga niya yung isang concrete plant box malapit sa amin, resulta, nabutas yung bumper ng mga 10mm dia, and nasira yung pintura. thanks at di naman napunit or na bend. baka po mey alam kayong magaling mag repair ng fiber glass bumpers + pintura na din. Dito po ako bandang south. Thanks po.

Hello good day guys we have innova E varient with d4d engine 1 yr old na siya 10k palang natakbo niya..pero religiously every 3 months change oil..so far no problem with engine..Im curious safe ba na ipaengine wash sa mga carwash shops?yung sisiritan ng pressurized water?wala bang dapat icover?tnx guys.

My suggestion is have the engine washed sa casa after your next PMS. Just make sure to specify water based cleaner. Sa ibang car shop kasi its is either alcohol or peroleum based, makintab nga pero the shine makes it a magnet to dust. Also, alcohol based cleaners are not friendly sa electrical tapes.

In my case, 18 months na E-D4D ko and never ko pa pina engine wash, I just make sure na part of the daily cleaning ritual is to include the engine compartment using only wet chamois.

Bro if your insurance covers own damage, I suggest that you just make an insurance claim, dring it sa casa and have the whole bumper replaced.

If not I still suggest bringing it sa Toyota casa, per panel and kanilang charge and its minimal. At least you can be sure na matched ang color.

New bumper cover costs 7,531.00 sa Toyota Makati. I am having mine replaced.

Right, mas madaling mag-claim ng own damage. Just make ang affidavit and notarized and submit to your insurer. Pay only the participation baka masa mura pa kaysa magpa repair/repaint sa labas at baka palit bumper pa pag sa insurance.

what's frustrating is that their service people even refused to admit it and said its normal. wow, are we customers that stupid?

do you know what the problem is? i left it to my SA to check and so far no updates pa.

damn it. do i ask for another unit? i'm afraid it might be seriously defective..

pina ayos ko na 'yung un-even elevations ko sa TMBC. according to them TMP ang gumawa gawa ng under pa ng warranty innova ko.
totoo po ba 'yun? pag TMP ang gumawa walang spare parts na maipapa kita sa akin gawa ng kinuha daw ng TMP? papaano ko malalaman na talagang apat 'yung rubber na pinalitan nila?
so far, nang sukatin ko kahapon sa TMBC pantay na elevation. obserbahan ko pa mag stay na sa ganung ht.
also, napansin ko lang parang lumakas 'yung dating naririnig kong rattle after nila ma repair auto ko. ang tunod eh parang may mga spoon & fork na nasa tray tapos inaalog. he3x!!! naranasan nyo na po ba 'yung ganun?
maraming ty po sa abala.

Bro, pa-warranty mo na lang, but before you go to your SA ay magfile kan ng complaint sa CRO.

Rubber damper lang yan, na kailangan palitan. No need to ask for another unit.

Yung problema ba na yan sa height is for D4D and VVTi variants? Yung sa amin kaya? Masilip nga pagdating ko sa Oct.

Di ko rin alam aling part ba yon, di rin kasi na-usisa ni Wolmanila kung aling part yon. Pero for sure it was part of the front suspension assembly.

So far, yung mga napalitan naman okay na at even na ang ride height.

actually our innova's "tagilid" to the left, front and rear. major prob. yata to, coz uneven weight distribution or suspension defect siya.

kailangan na palitan rubber damper when the car hasn't even set a tire out of the dealer? its brand new, and broken WTF!

i have never ever encountered such a crappy brand new car in my life. thanks toyota.

Those are repairable!! :D I just sent my innova last Monday back for that "Problem to be fixed". Very annoying talaga ung maingay na yun. It's coming from the Airbag. Sabi ng toyota, meron atang mali sa pagkakalgay ng kung ano man ang nasa loob nung dash sa passenger side. Sabi nila, they have had many cases of innova's with "Maingay na dash". OK na ngayon ang innova namin, Tahimik na! :D

Question lang po, yung bang maingay na yun ay sa V and G variants lang po? Parang may naririnig din po ako kasi ako sa ride ko kaso E variants lang po yung sa akin!

Guess my post wasn't clear. Ok let me clarify:

The E model indeed has power windows but they now include an automatic up/down (starting sept 2009). That entailed an 11k price increase.

Actually, my model E 2008 already has fully automatic driver side window operation when opening only (depresseing the switch fully down once). When closing, you have to pull the switch up until window is fully closed. Other cars have the closing fully automatic when the switch is pulled all the way up. If that is the only upgrade for that 11K, what an expensive switch it is!

I followed Mile2's suggestion to just do it myself using dishwashing liquid soap. I mixed in a little detergent. You are right, what they use in Toyota dealerships actually attract dust. I still use pressure washer but mostly sa ilalim lang para doon sa chassis and I make sure I don't spray directly sa mga electrical components. Pagkabanlaw ng tubig, punas punas lang then pinainit ko ang engine.

Gud day to all ka innova, may querry lang po ako kung any one of you who have tried Mobil delvac MX 15W-40W on your innova especially sa mga naka D4D, musta ang performance?

"Dryer" ang tawag dun sa cylinder like na may salamin sa ibabaw sir. Normal lang na may "konting" bula sa loob. Di kasi pwede punuin ng husto yun kasi high pressure naman ang kalalabasan.

Pag nag high pressure naman, automatic na cut off nung sensor yung compressor para di sumabog yung freon lines.

Sir normal po ba na pag patay makina e bumubula pa rin dryer or is this a sign na may leak talaga tubing aircon ko kasi meron parin akong nakakapang oil sa tubing nya especially sa morning na di pa naaandar..and pano sir mag upload photos dito para ma share ko pictures ng leaking tube ng aircon ko...thanks ulit and waiting for the info...

Sir normal po ba na pag patay makina e bumubula pa rin dryer or is this a sign na may leak talaga tubing aircon ko kasi meron parin akong nakakapang oil sa tubing nya especially sa morning na di pa naaandar..and pano sir mag upload photos dito para ma share ko pictures ng leaking tube ng aircon ko...thanks ulit and waiting for the info...

When you have oil outside the tubing, it might still be a leak in the system. Linisin mong maigi then run the car's AC for a few hours or take it for a drive. If you plan to go out, clean the suspect area first before heading out then once back home, inspect mo ulit for presence of oil. Kung meron na naman sya even if you had thoroughly cleaned it before, then may leak yung system mo. Balik mo sa casa for repair.

Sir may leak talaga kahit diko pinaandar and nilinis ko lang after an hour meron na naman oil... here are the pictures...
