    Hi All,

Anyone here who does their own engine washing? What precautions need to be taken? I have my own pressure washer but afraid to use it for engine cleaning as I might damage sensitive component. I never had a chance to observe how they do it sa casa.

I do but I never use pressure washer, only mild sprinkle of water from garden hose on per portion basis (this will avoid over watering) . Wet some portion and then follow up with soapy rug (diluted dishwashing soap) and then rinse, then proceed again to other portion. Been doing this for about 3 years now, and does this once every month. Then start the engine for a while to whisk off water from moving parts, turn off engine and dry off excess water.

Just cover the alternator with plastic, all electrical sockets are water tight/proof anyway.

Another question for you: Do you allow casa to use engine flush when you're having your oil change? Marami kasing nagsasabi sa akin before na hindi iyon maganda para sa engine pero I just allowed Toyota to use this on my 1K, 5K and 10K PMS. I'm thinking na huwag na ako magpagamit noon on my next PMS at 15K km.

Right rear quarter window. The antenna itself is etched/printed/attached directly onto the glass.

For me it is accurate, actually it was measured as "average" so you have to reset it to zero every now and then, if you do not reset it to zero it means you are taking average reading since the last reset to zero.

Before I was computing manually against the MID reading and find it accurate. But now I quit computing since I know how much liters of fuel I always consume on my daily same route.

Any inputs mga Sir?

Indeed. It's hard to fault the Innova as a serviceable family car.

Starter, do you have a stepboard? Parang ganyan yung na-experience ko a few months back nung galing kaming tagaytay.
