You really need to go to your dealer's PMS religiously every 5,000kms else you will be having problems with warranty claims. 100,000kms or 3 years is the warranty for your car so better make the most of it, in my case I already claimed some parts replacements from my dealer like front shock absorbers and some major parts.

Thank you so much Mile 2! Nabasa ko yung link pero papano yung "Bulb can be access from the back of the aircon control assembly by rotating it counter-clockwise"? Nakalas ko na yung knob pero namroblema ako sa pag access from the back of the aircon control assembly, pwede bang pakipaliwanag ulit . Thanks ulit!

Just follow the attached pictures with procedures embedded, disassembly and assembling is just very easy.

If you are not confident just let the dealer replace your bulbs. Cost of bulb is just P292/piece.

You will need to remove the black cover inside the door by pulling it gently.

Use Epoxy steel to fix broken side mirror base Don't worry you can fix it..good luck

Regarding PMS, as Mile2 advised, dapat religiously pa din yung every 5K. Unless magaling kang pumirma dun sa warranty booklet mo.

Gamit ko ngayun is sem-syn since every 5K din naman ang palit ng oil filter maski sa fully-syn. So konti lang din difference sa presyo.

Seatmate near Mandaluyong Circle (City Hall), I think its around P7,500. Just use the search function here to look for the exact address.

Liv our Innova Club chairman got her leatherette seat cover there and was happy with it and I do remember she got a freebie dog bone pillow

I also inquired there personally and they can also do wrinkled/pleats sporty look at the same price.

Seatmate bro. My leather seatcover for the Innova 2009 G was from them. I forgot the price but I think its around 6 to 7k. Good quality and fitting. They also gave me a free bone-shaped pillow.

after 4 years and 2 months of ownership, i have had the following items replaced while my innova g a/t night mist was still under warranty.

    1. tail gate lifters...both left and right replaced during first year of ownership. tail gate becomes hard to fully open if either one is deffective. on 4th year, left lifter has leaked out again

    2. faulty speedometer replaced on 2nd year of ownership...under warranty. full speedo cluster was replaced

    3. noisy brake rotors replaced...also under warranty

    4. key remote of 2005 innovas with full rubber covers becomes tattered even with gentle use. had mine replaced with the full plastic remote...under warranty.

innova is a great family vehicle. it's my first toyota. am i impressed with the vaunted "toyota" quality? not that much but what impressed me was toyota's prompt action whenever the car has quality/warranty issues

planning to buy rearview camera din or mirrors nalang

How could you tell if your unit has these defects? Are there any sign or manifestations? Thanks!

Ps: Weren't the one trying to sell your Innova weeks before?

faulty speedometer is just that...the needle indicating speed does not move.

as for the rotors, a continuous high pitch sound emanating from the disc/rotors. similar to a worn brake pad warning sound.

    yup, sold to a relative.

Para sa kin kasi, I need to change my oil every 6 months.

On diesel fuel, again no significant observation sa difference. Parehong okay sa kin ang shell and petron.
Tnx bro sa reply, ako din around 10,000km ang total na mileage ko in a year kaya i chose to have change oil interval every 5k. I"m planning to use it after my warranty expires. Another bro, do you use fuel treatment para maging mas malinis daw ang fuel system natin especially yung injection pump.

I have a problem with my three (3) year old innova. Since I'm not using any car freshener (oil or waxed based), I decided to spray lysol overnight and come the next day, when I started it, out came the foul "vinegar smell" from my aircon vents that some posters here described. I have not spilled anything nor placed anything that might spoil overnight. My carpet is not wet as I've already checked. My only hunch is when I sprayed the lysol, I think some of the bacteria (or whatever it is called) migrated to the aircon ducts and they are now causing the foul vinegar smell? I've tried switching the air intake from outside to recirculate and vice versa...it's still there.
I'll try the charcoal solution and spraying lysol directly into the vents later.
If you guys have any suggestions, thanks in advance.
Have read threads with the same problem and nobody seems to have found the solution yet so I'm posting this. If somebody did, please...pa-share naman po!

If you have a garage, just let the windows open and let fresh air circulate inside the cabin, put some charcoal canister inside.

Make sure your condensed water outlets are functioning, you should see droplets of water on pavement, one is on the engine bay passenger side for the front aircon, and the other one is on the rear passenger side for the rear aircon.
