anyone with a d4d innova who has replaced their oem battery? Asked a few posts ago about battery and alignment and so far only the alignment was commented on, still waiting for comments from other innova owners on the battery.

True, I have seen some of them and they are all D4d. Looks like the D4D is more heavier for the front suspension to take.

Running at 40K na ang ODO ko, stock tires parin at makapal pa rin ang threads, no signs of uneven wear.

my ODO is already at 45K and my car is 3 1/2 years old already. May mga bitak na yung tires ko but the thread still ok. Anybody have this problem so far? Yokohama tire pala nakakabit sa innova ko.

My Innova is as old as yours but at 60+k already. Same tires pero wala pang bitak.

Hey, just signed up here, am a innova owner too for a year now, got it from a friend who went abroad. a 2005 D4D MT, currently its 45,000 odo. using it every day on and off to work, QC-Valenzuela-Qc.

1 thing i noticed that when my fuel gauge is 1/4 to 1/8 left in the tank, you have to go look for the nearest gas station to fill it up, it happened to me twice! when i parked or got in an decline position at a stop light, fuel came rushing thru the front end of the tank therefore i got screwed! my engine choked and went dead even if i start it, it wont budge!

So i bought a 2 liter diesel, fill it up and i have to pump out the air in the fuel system until it clears, took me an hour to pump out the god damn thing! grrr This by the way didnt even happened to me once on my nissan frontier pick up which my fuel guage is on E empty! but still capable of running a few kilometers.

Oh btw guys i have another problem, the engine indicator on my instrument panel is lit up. only if i used it on long drives like 1-2 hours (long na ba yun?) lols. Then when my engine gets cold ok na ulit sya. i read the manual that i have to take it to the dealer to have is serviced and checked, problem is i havent got the time to do it.

Have any of you guys got same problem as mine? yung umiilaw yung engine? its the indicator at the top right side of the hand brake indicator.

Medyo slim and long ang gas tank ng Innova and slightly lower sa end portion at nandoon din ang floater for the gauge at yung fuel line nandoon din sa rear end.

Tendency pag naka decline position ang car lahat ng fuel will go to the front at mawawalan ng supply yung fuel line.

to be safe don't let your fuel gauge get lower than 1/4.

Yung ilaw na sinasabi mo ay Yellow light ba? Yan yung check engine light or CEL, ibig sabihin niyan may na sense na fault ang ECU. You will need to have it diagnose at casa, they will hook it with a computer to retrieve error logs. Error logs will tell which parts is faulty.

Thanks sir for the reply, now im always filling my tank pag half pa lang, mahirap na ma tirikan ulit. btw last year 1,500 to 1,800 lang full tank na ako from 1/4. now half tank pa meron ako 1,500 pa to full tank. dang!!

So sir i really have to take my car to toyota and have it diagnose. hay... gastos nanaman to fo sure!

Not necessarily, kung DIY guy ka, you can check your engine bay. Try to re-seat all connectors and wire sockets. Usually CEL light lit only due to loose contacts.

Thanks sir Miles2, unplug and reconnect ko lang mga terminals and sockets? i was thinking of disconecting my battery para ma restart or ma reboot yung ecu na kaya? im def a DIY guy but pag dating sa mga electronics ng kotse ayoko galawin baka ma tirikan ako sa daan. but if i can, i can.

Decline sir, meaning yung nguso ng car nakatutok sa pababa, try mo na nakailaw yung empty fuel light mo at itutok mo pababa yung car mo, siguradong titirik ka.

^ naku nakakatakot pala, ganun pa naman ako lagi pag palabas ng parking... sobra tarik pa naman dito, siguro di lang ako natsa tsambahan... di na nga ako mag papa ilaw ng fuel low... dellikado... applicable kaya pati sa VVti yun?

Hi guys, has anybody had their shock absorbers replaced elsewhere (not in casa) with other brands? My shocks is no longer covered by warranty. Of course kung sa casa ko pa papalitan ito, mas mahal, I just talked to Ricky in Alabang and one front shock costs P3,200 and a rear costs P780. I intend to replace my shocks elsewhere with other brand. Any suggestion guys?

Hi IB, yup matagtag na lalo na yung sa harapan. Balak ko kasi na palitan na lang out of casa kasi wala na sa warranty (3 yrs lang po ito according to them, yung alignment after 1k km tapos void na). Inisip ko kasi na kung sa casa ko ito papalitan mas mahal no question about that, alam naman natin na rip-off sa casa, parts, accessories, pms, etc. I still have to talk to the CRO (customer's relation offcr) about it kasi noted nila yung shocks last Dec pero wala sila at that time spare.
