Yung sa akin Low maintenance (Oriental)

Nilagyan ko na ng cover kasi minsan overfilled during PMS, nagtalsikan sa paint ayun puro batik-batik tuloy.

Well sa kin lang yon, you can choose whatever you wish on how to restore your duster... Kung pede nga lang dry cleaning eh, he he he.
Based sa intructions, you can wash it using mild soap. A detergent is considered as harsh soap so buti your duster works well pa rin.

My duster is just one month old pero maintim na rin nga. How long did it take you before you have to wash your duster?

How do I clean my Duster?

Because of a special permanently baked in paraffin treatment, The Original California Dusters are made to provide years of effective service without the need for cleaning. Simply shake them out before and after each use. The "dirtier" they get the better they work.

If you find it necessary to clean your Duster because it is too dirty or if the Duster stops lifting dust, it can be washed. You may hand wash your Duster in cold water with a mild detergent such as Woolite, then air dry. Do not use hot water to wash or hot air to dry, as heat or harsh detergent may remove the special paraffin treatment.

Regarding sa speed namn po.is it advisable na patakbo na ng mabilis.pag uwi kc ako pampanga sa NLEX lahat ng innova nkkita ko speed nila at least minimum nila atleast 110KPH and above while sa akin 90kph lng.

nid ur expert advise mga inova users.
Congratulations to your new Innova. I got my Innova E D4D last February 13, 2008. For my 1000PMS I used Toyota mineral oil.

I plan to use the mineral oil (ordinary oil) again on my next oil change at 3000 kms and again at 5000 and every 2500 thereafter. I plan to have my oil changed every 2500 kms and not every 5000.

The best way to take care of a diesel engine is to make sure that the oil is clean, and IMO the best way is shorter change oil intervals using ordinary oil.

As for the break-in, from 28 to 800 kms ODO ( I got my Innova with 28kms ODO reading) I never drove past 60kph then at 800 ODO I drove to Dau via NLEX. Started 60 max then gradual 70 then back to 60 then 80 back to 70 then 90 back to 80 then 100 back to 90 until I reached 120kph. I did not hold steady at any speed but made sure that my speed varies. After that trip I went straight to Toyota for oil and filter change.

After my 1000PMS I drove the Innova up to 140kph for a few seconds. Presently, highway driving, I try maintain speeds between 2000 to 3000 rpm being the most fuel efficient range.

My Innova has an FC of 11.8km/l pure city driving (Manila to Makati) and 12.6km/L highway with hataw.

The engine is noticeably quiet compared to other Innovas in my neighborhood. I also barely notice the vibration of the engine, feels like driving a gasoline car.

    I use only Petron Diesel.

I plan to change oil filter every 5000 kms.

    Enjoy your ride bro.

To Fellow Innova Owners: Drove my D4D Innova to Isabela and back. Total of 660km trip and I measured an FC of 13.7km/li. Sarap iovertake sa DALTON Pass dahil hindi ka mabibitin sa hatak.

How long? hmmm... can't recall since my in law gave it to me, lemme guess around 1 and a half year ago. It's not my soiled duster issue reason I opted to have it washed, but the scratches on my Nova's body. With my instructions to the maid, have it washed with detergent (Mr Clean, I think), rinse, wring and basked it dry under a warm shade.

    Intrigued by your Cali Dusters:

Is it available here in the Philippines? How do you use it? - Just wipe it around without washing the car?

    Hello,

I am planning to buy rain gutter/side visor tomorrow.

    1. Where should I buy? Meron kaya nito sa megamall or shangri-la?

    2. Ok ba yung brand na EGR? I called goldcars banawe, 2K daw yung price.

    3. Assuming I chose the EGR brand, how will I know if it's original?

    4. Is it easy to install? I'm thinking of installing it by myself. However, big concern is I might mess something up.

    Thanks guys!

Sa Blade Shangri-la (ground floor near Technohub) P799 ung cali duster. Sa hanstools (6th flr) ganun din yata yung price. Meron din sila package, 1.3K, may kasama ng mini duster at microfiber cloth..

Hello fellow innova owners, have anyone tried putting KNN filter sa diesel innova nyo? Did it provide additional pulling power and fuel efficiency?
