kung sa lbas ba bbli ng alarm mga magkano? ndi kya ma void warranty pag sa lbas nagpalagay? and pde b sa lbas ka bbli tpos, sa casa mo papa install??

halos pareho lang price na nakuha ko sa Goldcars, 7K... good thing lang when you buy sa labas eh makakapili ka ng brand... i opted for Autopage... bukod sa U.S. made, subok na rin tong brand na to'... medyo di kasi ako bilib dun sa mga brands na carry ng casa... like what SA's say... pag sa labas ka bumili... definitely mavovoid ang warranty.

Prices ranges from P1,500 pataas... wala pang actuator yun.

I asked my SA about the warranty thing... she suggested na bumili ng alarm sa ibang shop at ipakabit na lang sa casa so as not tovoid the warranty.

approved na ako. nagsubmit ako kanina ng mga requirements ko 2pm approved na. sobrang bilis pala, tapos before 29 ma rerelease na daw? hehehe

super excited na nga ako eh, bumili na nga ako ng busina, BOSCH air master, pang truck.

next month, darating na Black Innova V a/t vvti ni utol, halos same lang itsura sa D4D a/t G namin except for the V badge sa labas...

innova nanaman hehe sawa na si utol pero ok lang at no choice kasi regalo lang itong pangalawang innova. Layo kasi sa budget ng bibigay ang fortuner

pero im so happy, my wife is very happy, my 2yr. old daughter is very happy. hehehehe

yun nga lang nag ka aberya agad yung pinakabit kong busina pumutok agad ang fuse, balik stock tuloy. haaay pero relay lang daw solusyon dun...papakabit na lang ako alarm bukas. pati dalawa lang pala speaker ng innova, baka bumili na rin ako.

Of course, I would love to be able to choose the most durable and reliable one among the bunch, with an eye for value-for-money and great after-sales service. So far, I'm leaning towards the Kia Carens; however, I'm still seriously considering the Innova, save for several concerns:


1. My dad used to have a diesel Sentra (the box type) and although the fuel cost was much less than the cost for a gasoline car, his maintenance cost for that car was fairly high - much higher, I would think, than what would be normally spent for maintaining a gasoline car. Is this still the case nowadays?

2. How significantly better is the fuel consumption/efficiency of the Innova D4D version as compared to the VVTi version?

we got an innova (circa early 2005) while a good friend of mine got a carens. i had an opportunity to drive his carens.

carens (gas a/t) - its a really nice ride. honestly, ride is much better (more plush) than an innova. what it is is actually a longer and taller stationwagon. i found it really quiet inside which is a good thing. but my gripe is that the front bumper is too low (parang lower than a typical sedan's). i scraped his bumper on several occasions, and hit it badly on the parking bump (the usual concrete bump that's supposed to delineate your parking slot in mall parking slots).

innova (diesel m/t) - we've had this car for 3 years now. (wow has it been that long already?) its really my wife's car and mostly driven by the family driver. its been really headache-free, considering its the driver who drives it. ride height is great. driving position is incredibly comfortable (great for long drives). interior space is awesome (my nephew loves it inside). the ride is slightly less plush than the carens but not uncomfortably so (i alternately driving a civic and a crv, and i prefer the innova's ride over the crv anytime). fuel consumption tops both the crv and the civic, and i have no complaints on the power side of the D4D when i need to overtake. maintenance costs has not been a problem (similar to the civic's when it was brand new).

Ipacheck niyo na rin sir kung kakayanin ng stock (original) wire yun BOSCH horn niyo. Baka kasi palitan nga ng relay at fuse e under-rated naman capacity ng wire... magkakaproblema rin in the long run.

Pag "J" two speakers po talaga, PERO may nakaabang na na wire sa rear doors... so just add some speakers and you're ready to go. Don't forget to have the wires tapped sa HU (head unit). Hindi pa rin siya nakakabit dun nakaabang lang.

Kung side mouldings, chrome handles, chrome mirrors and mud guards... hindi po mavo-void ang warranty.

Pero kung alarms and fog lamps... it's a different story.
Pwede rin naman na bumili kayo sa banawe tapos ipakabit niyo sa casa.
May electrical na kasi na concerned. Yun ang advise ng SA ko.

di talaga kaya ng stock relay kung magpapalit ka ng busina... i had to replace the stock relay with Bosch nung nagpalit ako to Fiamm... di na kailangan palitan yung stock wirings.

I think comparing Innova against Carens is not an "apple to apple" comparison.

As I mentioned earlier, I bought my Innova J VVTi MT in February 2005 and I just bought (last month) a Carens LX CRDi A/T (for my wife). Physically, Innova is bigger, higher, has larger capacity (passenger and cargo) than Carens. Carens is more of a sedan with larger cargo capacity and an option to carry another 2 passenger instead of cargo.

Sir malaki po ba ung dent? and Insured po ba ung car niyo? mas advisable kasi kung sa casa niyo na lang pagawa under insurance claims. Kahit maliit na dent lang pwede naman, may nabasa kasi akong thread yung tsikot niya nabagsakan lang ng mangga nagkadent yung hood na maliit pero naipasok niya parin for insurance claim.
