Also got mine from Toyota Manila Bay since they had the color i wanted. Same discount as mentioned above plus several freebies. More or less the other dealers would match the discount price so you just have to negotiate for the free items you can get.

    I got the ff:

    10K cash discount
Free LTO 3 yrs (13.2K worth)
    3M tint w/ Full windshield

    and the usual freebies:
    Undercoating
    floor mat
    seat cover

Buyers will get better deals in the coming months as supply normalizes.

    PS: 1.6G A/T (bank p.o.)

Talk to the architect of my BIL who owns 10th gen altis, sabi nya 18km/L daw sa hiway driving nya then 13km/L daw sa city.
Anybody can confirm this? 6-speed manual kanya.

I have not yet finished a full tank yet with my 1.6 6-speed since we just got it last Friday but at 140kms (city driving), i just hit the 3/4 tank mark. I'll update once i get the first FC figures. It seems efficient enough since i could drive around all day shifting at only 2K rpm and reach speeds of 80kph without going over that; yung nga lang, you're always shifting.

Wala. You need to upgrade to 1.6V (A/T only) to get the Pearl White (+15K).

Seems to be a typo error more than anything else.

For 2011 owners and up (1ZR-FE dual vvt-i), what is the code for the toyota oil filter? You can find this in your service billing from the dealer. Thanks!

PS: Can't seem to locate the oil filter in the crowded engine bay.

1ZE-FE is for the manual tranny version. the AT model has the 1ZR-FE.

"1ZE-FE" is a typo. A/T or M/T ; E, G or 1.6 V, as long as its the one with the dual vvt-i (late 2010 and up), the engine code is 1ZR-FE

What's the difference po ba between 1ZE-FE and 1ZR-FE? Both are dual-vvti.

Typo lang po ang 1ZE-FE. 1ZR-FE dapat yan.

Notice how the "E" and the "R" are beside each other sa keyboard?

    hehe

    hello peeps

altis owner here with the 1.6 3ZZ-FE engine with manual tranny.

i have to say, the drive by wire is a bit slow to respond. unlike traditional throttle response.

You'll find people who post on the 10thgen forums in the U.S. have used Pivot Throttle Controller. Some say, it has improved response...

do all of us suffer the same slower throttle response or is it just me? :-) pivot sounds nice, but if its too expensive, i can manage naman the delay in throttle response.

besides that im pretty satisfied with our altis ;)

Since i'm in the break-in period where i have not gone over 3K RPM most of the time and i'm driving around with a light foot, i've still to observe the throttle inputs under WOT. In light driving it's not really noticeable but i guess this would be noticed more once i start doing long drives with more pedal input.

On a previous thread, they discussed theE-Throttle controller unit which could adjust throttle input sensitivity. Costs around 5K according to the thread.
