Hello everyone! I am new here and am dead-set on buying a Tam FX as it's what my wallet can afford as of the moment. Can anyone please give me an idea how much is the current market value for a 1997 standard fx with a 2c turbo diesel engine? the vehicle that i'm about to inspect is equipped with stereo with speakers and mags.

Any inputs will be highly appreciated. by the way, their asking price is 120k. am also bringing with me a mechanic to be doubly sure.

share ko lang sa mga ka-fx ko dito lalo na yung mga naka-7k. kanina hapon na hit ko ang best fc ko na 12.1 kpl sa city driving with a/c on * 3/4 setting. dati kasi ang best ko ay 9 kpl (city). may pinuntahan kasi kami ni misis sa la loma kanina. umulan pa tapos trapik. natuwa ako pag-refill ko ng petron extra unleaded (may e10 na yata un) at lumabas sa simple math na nag-improve ang consumption ng gas.

ganito ginawa ko...

last oct 10, hinataw ko fx ko sa slex papunta calamba then balik din pauwi. nag average ako ng 110 to 120 kph. ginawa ko yun para ma-flush out ko yung mga bara sa carb. paguwi ko, spray ko ng diesel ang mga mechanical links sa carb. may hinala kasi ako na baka stuck-up ang automatic choke. kinabukasan, sunday na. tinimpla ko ang air/fuel mixture. sinundan ko ang instructions sa website indicated below (although not really meant for 7k carbs). nag-set ako ng idle to 600 rpm lang. jets remained at 95L/115H. ginamit kong spark plugs yung stock na bosch bp6es.

lapit na rin ako mag-change oil kaya mag-try ako gumamit ng fully synthetic later. target ko gamitin yung top 1 para mas mura compared sa mga dominant brands. i'm trying to beat or get close to avanza's fc o kung hindi man eh mapantayan man lang though its really impossible kasi 1.5 lang yun. efi na at vvti pa compared to 1.8 7k old design.

anyway, i'll duplicate the same trip pag bumalik kami la loma para malaman ko kung totoo nga nag-improve ang fc. pero as far as my trip meter and my petron receipt is concerned eh lumabas nga na 12.1 kpl ang latest fc ko.

hope makakuha kayo ng idea to improve your 7k's gas consumption. ty po.

a friend is planning to resurrect his FX din. san kaya makakabili ng engine ng FX (7K) na reliable? magkano ang damage?

congrats sa FC improvement ng FX nyo.
Wala po bang difference sa performance pag naka 115H ang jet nyo?
di po ba hirap?

gaya nung last time mag usap tayo sa phone nag palit na din ako ng jet.
110L/150H medyo mabagal sa arangkada eh...dapat pala last sunday pumunta ako sa place nyo sa Pacita...
anyway next time txt ko po kita....

bro, basahin mo yong mga naunang post. completo ang detalye kung papaano mag change engine from gas to diesel. andoon na rin mga parts na kailangan palitan and the corresponding cost.

anyway, bigyan kita ulit short overview. medyo mahal po pag nag change engine ka from gas to diesel kasi kailangan palitan bell housing ng transmission mo, palit ka rin radiator kasi mas malaki dapat yong sa diesel. magpa remount ka rin motor support. then kailangan palitan mo rin yong lamang loob ng differential mo. low speed kasi yong sa gas. yon lang naman. oh and by the way, kung magpapalit ka rin lang naman to diesel, why not add 10k para 3c turbo na ipalit mo. i'm sure mas mabilis pa sa revo and adventure yong fx mo pag 3c makina mo lalo na sa akyatan. thats it and i suggest pagtiyagaan mong basahin yong mga naunang mga post.
