marami nga gumagamit ng 5 holes pcd 114 pero karamihan sa mga stock wheels ay naka positive offset lalo na yong stock wheels and adventure and crv which are not recommended to use in revo or fx specially if you plan to use wide low profile tires dahil sasayad yan unless na gagamit ka ng spacer. kung sa fx mo rin balak ikabit yong mags, why not scout for a second hand mags na toyota or better yet, maghanap ka dyan sa tabi tabi ng mags na naka negative offset.
kung sa dami lang ng mga cars na gumagamit ng 5 holes pcd114 ay marami like fx, revo, hi-ace commuter van, toyota corona, adventure, crv, L300 van, L300 FB at marami pa.

Bro, timing belt is one of the critical part ng 2C engine kaya dont use replacement part. dito sa baguio, karamihan sa mga taxi ay fx. marami dyan napuputolan ng timing belt kahit kapapalit lang dahil nga replacement part ginamit nila. marami kasi nagtitipid to think na napakalaki ng price variance ng genuine at replacement na timing belt. yong replacement belt price can range from 500 to 900 pesos while the genuine one is around 2,200 pesos. pero you have to sacrifice buying the genuine one kasi sobrang laki ng damage ng cylinder head mo pag naputolan ka ng timing belt. be reminded na pag naputolan ka ng timing belt, sigurado putol campshaft mo. pati valve guide masisira. halos lahat ng lamang loob ng cylinder head mo pwedeng madali lalo na pag nasa high speed ka nong time na naputol. the remedy would be change cylinder head kasi mas mahal pag pa recondition mo pa. by the way, nagitta is the brand name of the genuine fx timing belt. marami na fx na dumaan sa akin and i am also operator of taxi (fx). i never use replacement parts pag dating sa timing belt and piston ring. pero yong other parts naman eh replacement parts and surplus yong ginagamit ko.
valve shim? ano ba yong valve shim? ang alam ko kasi na part ng 2c or 3c cylinder head are, valve seal, valve set ring, valve, piso piso, baso baso, campshaft, valve guide at yong mga springs. pag nagpa top overhaul ka, mandatory na mapapalitan ang valve seal and cylinder head gasket. the rest ay pwede na ibalik kung okay naman pero kailangan pa rin i grind nila yong mga valve. kung nag ooverheat yong makina dati, baka kailangan na rin pa re-surface yong head. check nyo na rin at baka naman malalim na yong valve set ring nyo so kailangan palitan nyo lahat ng valve set ring. ginagawa ito sa machine shop. karamihan sa machine shop ay meron sila pyesa for the valve set ring. may mga mekaniko kasi na di marunong kung ano ano dapat i check sa top overhauling. baka ang alam lang nila ay yong basic na pag top overhaul like change piston ring, change valve seal, grind the valve, valve clearance adjustment and no more. masasayang lang pag top overhaul nyo kung yon lang alam mekaniko nyo. ang labor ng top overhaul is 3,500. di ko lang alam dyan sa metro manila. kaya dapat lahat ng parts ng makina ay dapat i check nyo para minsanan ang labor. pati yong water pump, oil seals and oil pump ay i check nyo na rin habang nakabukas ang makina.

thanks for appreciating my old AUV. i also believe that old model vehicles that are well maintained at pormado are more interesting to look at than the usual new vehicles.
dito sa baguio, pagandahan ng tamaraw fx ang mga owners dito kaya marami ka makikita magagandang mga fx dito. marami ring fx dito ang naka 3C turbo engine. basta yong mga fx na nag oovertake ng mga revo and adventures sa mga akyatan dito sa baguio, mga 3C turbo makina nyan. makikita mo at mabibilis sila sa akyatan.

ano kayang brand ng side mirror ang fitted sa FX natin?
gusto ko kasing palitan yung OEM n mirror para maiba naman ang itsura....yung wala ng bakal sa upper portion....

SAAN PO BA ITO DAPAT NAKAKABIT? hindi ko kase masilip kung saan sya banda dati nakalagay.

Its too bad that Toyota decided to cease producing this model even for the Shuttle - FX market.In my view, the Mitsubishi Adventure GX is now the FX vehicle of choice since it has no competition in this category.
