May post sa FB group, 3-4 months waiting time for a side mirror and a parking sensor module. Pati front bumper.

Also the facelifted models axes the 1.6L engine (replaced by a 1.0L turbo).

Not sure ano effect here locally for parts in relation sa engine.

Nope I don't but depende sa dealer mo nakuha. Yun amin ok lang na kahit on the 5th or 6 months basta yun 5,000 kms interval nasusunod.

true or not, i chose not to gamble.
Yan ang ayaw ko sa suzuki.. hirap mag hanap ng parts.. tapos mahal pa yung SGP nila.. unlike sa ramen and kimchi brands

The Vitara's 1.6L engine. Idk if Suzuki PH will phase out the 1.6L engine locally, but it might since it's CBU from Hungary.

But on the facelifted model, the 1.6L is replaced by the 1.0L turbo engine.

Yup. 1.0L for the lower variants and the 1.4L for the higher ones.

from the ertiga manual. from that country that's about to become the most populous in the world. yes it's hot and traffic just as bad as in PH

    1yr or 10,000kms PMS interval

yan ang ayaw ko sa PMS intervals dito sa pilipinas. ikaw pa magmamaka-awa just to be able to perform PMS at the proper schedule

6mo interval is reasonable. my local suzuki dealer was really adamant about their 3x a year schedule

i just don't want to have to beg just for them to "allow" me to do 2x a year PMS. that's BS

    Very true.

Though again depende na siguro sa dealer. My 2nd PMS (5,000 kms) was on the 6th month na instead on the 4th month based sa manual pero ok lang naman sa dealer. I guess they know that it is added income for them to have your unit serviced with them. Independent kasi ang service sa dealer as I was told.

a little discussion on service intervals and they will allow you to bring the car before the end of the 5th month for the next pms.

still, was able to avail of the free labor charge.

the more frequent you go back for service intervals, the more it is favorable to the dealership.

just follow what is recommended in the service booklet.

well it's a effing scam. that's the best phrase that describes it. i don't like mincing my words

believe me i even tried giving them a printout of the PMS schedule in the manual. as i've said they were totally adamant about their 3x a year PMS

    so no suzuki for me

lemme spell it out for you: the car doesn't need 3x a year PMS. yet suzuki PH wants you to do it. it's a scam.
