I've owned a Jimny for 6 months. During my first months, average consumption ko was between 9 to 10km/l. Now, my consumption is between 7 to 8km/l nalang. I just brought it in for its first 5k checkup pero ganoon parin. Any advise on what's going on? Hula ko its my air filter coz nabara yon a couple of months back pero napalinis ko na rin yon so it should be ok now. Stock lang setup ko. Matic sya. So far, the only things i've added are a set of speakers for the back, fog lights, and hypervoltage from hyperparts.

not much change sa driving habits. More or less yun naman talaga tapak ko. Traffic is normal, edsa ako everyday. Gas filter was replaced nung check-up. Using same fuel parin (Shell Unleaded). Looked at my air filter. Medyo madumi na. Baka yun. Will try to have it cleaned later and update. Thanks for the post.

re-compute fuel consumption, check tire pressure, change air filter, shift to velocity ( more expensive but more km/l compared to unleaded), eat a light breakfast (joke lang)

    I calculate in 2 ways.

1.) Jimny fuel tank is 40L. I check total miles when it reaches half of the guage.

2.) I check how many liters were loaded when i gas up again (full tank).

That's correct if you're indifferent to gas consumption, a second hand Expedition is a better value for money compared to Durango.

well the durango is not a full sized SUV like the expedition so its going to be a bit faster than the exped. My friend has the same model it really delivers great acceleration... it feels nimbler than the exped too. But the down side is the small interior... medyo cramped as opposed to the exped but if you're going to be driving it mas ok durango for me.

It's still uses multi-leaf springs in the rear. If that point is important to you.

The ride isn't the bad part (not completely, anyway), but the body control is. The Durango is lighter and sportier-feeling than most of the old V8 SUVs, and it encourages a little hooliganism. Unfortunately, you'll find that the body control and brakes don't appreciate 200 km/h+ antics when the surface gets bumpy.

Still, it's an okay SUV for the boyracer or bachelor type, but if you're going to get a big expensive guzzler of an SUV, I agree that the Exped is a more comfy choice.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
