Pms and warranty is one booklet. I think the sa manager doesn't have say on warranty claims. Usually they just sign and indicate the date when you performed the pms. I just think for warranty claim evaluation they can say we did not follow the pms schedule for reason to deny our warranty claim.

So far other brands like Toyota and honda i have don't have problems with warranty claims even if i did not follow pms sked. Usually our car are low mileage.
First time to own a Suzuki kaya no experience kung how strict sila. Because i read many negative stories on warranty claims on the Hyundai brand. Hopefully not the case with suzuki.

I'm not sure if service advisor signature in the warranty booklet is a guarantee for warranty claim. Only the casa gain from our pms that's why they allow you even delayed. For warranty claims the plant or Suzuki Philippines makes the approval

many brand service centers have your vehicle service records in their computers which all their casas can access, in case owner waylayed his service & warranty booklet.

My Vitara had its 10K PMS this morning at Suzuki Sta. Rosa. Change oil, new spark plugs, brake cleaning. Came out 3,595. I asked them to remove the window washer fluid included on the billing (to save 200) and told them not to have the car washed anymore (to save time).

To chime in on the discussion about the 3x maintenance interval, I'm honestly all for making sure that the car continues to run right. We did 2x yearly PMS with my previous Ford Fiesta, and a problem it had wasn't even detected even though the early signs should've been spotted during PMS. So 2x or 3x doesn't really matter. The additional trip should help maintain the car in top condition; I can always blame them if things go wrong. Besides, the maintenance cost has been affordable thus far.

On another topic, at around 7800 kms on the odometer, it feels like my Vitara has already been broken in properly. It has been running much better as of late.

3595 for 10000 pms with spark plug replacement is reasonable. I hope labor fee will not be too much on the next pms after we used up the free labor coupons.

been experiencing the same ever since the last pms. mileage also improved a bit. from my usual 9-10 i'm now up to 11.7. current trip is 415+km and still have a few bars left before the low fuel warning lights up.

on another note, i just wished the vitara came with 4 handle grips, a center arm rest and stock turbo lights.

the vitara loves to be played around the corners. very very minimal body roll even when pushed a bit hard. i'm thinking the shorter wheelbase gave it a bit of an advantage based on the other cars that i have driven.

the electric power steering made things a little bit easier in stop and go traffic, but i still prefer the engagement and feel of a hydraulic.

This morning I drove my Vitara from Parañaque to LTO Imus where I parked. When I drove out of the parking lot I noticed that my car's steering was heavy. To my dismay, I have a flat tire. Luckily, there was a tire dealership just about 150 meters away along Aguinaldo Hi-way. There were no Continental tires in all of Bacoor and Imus. I even called the Philippine distributor to point me to a dealer in the area but the earliest their dealer could do was a delivery on Saturday. Most dealers just said they don't have a stock of the continental tires we have on our Vitaras. So, it was a choice between Hankook (P4,100) or Aelous (P3,800) or some Indonesian brand which were available. I got the Hankook and rotated my wheels/tires. There was a hole in the inner side wall of the continental tire. I've been reading a lot of similar cases on Vitaras in our FB group. Honestly, I don't remember ever hitting anything or driving over a pot hole. I also don't think it was vandalism since the hole is on the inner side. I plan to bring this up to my dealer.

The Continental tires are good (good grip in any condition, compares well with others in its price range), but if there's one weakness, it's the side walls. Continental tires also came with my Fiesta before, and one of them burst when I hit a gutter at slow speed. When I checked the Fiesta forums, the same complaints were also there. I guess the side walls are really thin, so there's very little in terms of protection when the sides hit something.

The tire pressure is 40 when it came out of the dealer. Recommended is 33 indicated on the label on the driver side door

Also check your battery terminals if tighten properly. I thought i broke the engine start.turn out loose negative terminal. Was able to use the free tool set to tighten it. I read here with same loose battery terminals also.

My mom's APV will have a PMS next week. No more free labor coupons. The quoted labor fee for the typical general inspection and change oil is 900.

Yes reasonable. Other brands nasa thousand. My Honda city 20000 checkup cost 7t plus with cabin and air filter. that is with me telling them to remove non essentials. Estimate is 12000 if with the non essentials.

Advantage lang when i complain that my steering have squeaking sound when turning. They replace the steering column and steering gear with 1 day of waiting time lang. They Now functioning as new.

For GL and GL+ owners, may way ba na mapagana Apple Carplay/Android Auto sa headunit natin? Parang iba kasi yung headunit kesa sa napapanuod ko sa youtube reviews, parang locally made or chinese made yung nakasalpak.
Also is there a way na palakasin or change the door lock/unlock sound instead of the beep sound na halos di marinig?

Local Vitara does not have AA or ACP.

It is known to be Hungary. As also exhibited by the long waiting time for spare parts.

No android auto and auto car play for our gl and glp units. You are right na generic looking Chinese made installed in our units which uses windows ce os. Only old versions of Android are working sa phone link.

Regarding sa beep sound. i believe you can only turn on and off the sound no way to change the sound in the settings.
