In case anyone still in the lookout for discounts in the GL+ variant, now at 30k for at least 5 dealerships i went through (initially 20k a week ago), just be careful to compare if you want to go through dealer installed accessories, for example to install a rear view camera, full 3M CS window tint (not FX-ST), and front 4 eye sensors the total price surprisingly varied from P22,000 for one dealer to P7,000 (cheapest with exactly same brands of accessories).

Typical auto dealer SAs- when i got my gl+ today, suddenly 4 eye front sensors( similar to GLX variants ) "suddenly" cannot be installed in GL+ models, and the reverse cam had to be deferred because of an "unavailable harness", totally different tone when you place your reservation fee 2 weeks prior- to answer your question - the 7k was quoted by Manila Bay, vs E Rod which quoted the 22k for the same set, reverse cam to be installed at a later time, at 4k, but still got the 3M CS20/35 (Winterpine accesories receipt so at least proof that its authentic 3M film) for free, full front, makes me feel sorry for the guy next to me being quoted for the standard Lumina freebie but with an additional 1500 for full front

HU of GL+ has a mirrorlink feature. Natest ko to using my android phone. Once linked via USB, your phone screen will be mirrored on the HU. From there you will enable you to control your phone using the HU.

Sir still cannot get my Samsung S7 to Mirrorlink with my GL+ WinCE HU. Original cable, USB debugging , MirrorLink enabled on the phone. The HU apparently able to recognize the phone when USB is connected (first check sign appears), but MOB connection error right after. Already tried installing the EasyConnected android app on my phone, but no dice. Any tips or apps I need to install? Thanks

I've done that on my SA before. She writes all the freebies and add-ons with her signature. And well received all of it.

Could not have put it any better, it seems strategy is get you to reserve with all the promised accesories, stupid of me to have believed, get ATD from the bank, then when you claim, all promises "suddenly" undoable. Even connecting my S7 to the GL+ WINCE HU - "sir madali lang- will get instructions from my friend", turns out he has no clue, was finally able to connect after several days, - run easyconnected app by carbit in the wince hu, tweak language settings, then use tne android easy connected app for mirroring waze, spotify etc - no need for mirror link, just be patient with Mr. GOOGLE

Sir - off chance you have only paid for a reservation fee? If so thats refundable and if its the GL+ then Im pretty certain you can get the 30k discount, having personally gone through at least 5 dealerships in MM in the past 3 weeks, all eventually matching the 30k discount (initially they will offer the standard 10k), muscling in the full 3M color stable tint in the process. East West bank has a car loan promo now with free comprehensive insurance for 1 year, free CMF, and an automatic 5k discount - thats for the 50%DP and 36 months loan period i availed. Dealers will provide you with the requesite invoice and delivery receipt, and will advice you to call them right away on the off chance your caught driving without the OR/CR - in their best interest since they pay a hefty 100k fine vs the 10k for the car owner.

Hi GLX owners. Just got my first curb rash on the face of my FR rim. Any suggestions as to how this can be remedied? I know it might need some fine sanding and putty/epoxy. I’m more concerned about how to bring it back to the same color as the rest of the allow wheels.

Two options -
1. Have it fixed by a shop — any recommendation?
2. Anybody here who’s willing to sell their stock rim with or without tire?
