Yep, you can hand your wife the FXT and then you can buy a new Ranger Raptor.

Bro, the Ranger Raptor is a pickup like the usual Ranger or Hilux. It just has a more potent engine and a more advanced suspension.

In the US, I have seen a lot of those F150 Raptors doing stuff like the usual F150 or full-size pickups do.

I agree on this one as this is the route i took.
Benefits of going used jimny is that parts are plenty and kinks has been ironed out or at least there are known workarounds.

If you need to haul heavy stuff make sure the Navara you're getting has the dual rate springs already. The single rate ones compress too much under heavy load.

Any new Jimny first hand owner who can share first hand experiences already?

Heard a (very) few units already released since last week but haven't seen one on the road yet (esp here in Cebu).

Did a 2nd round of "a little more" detailed test driving yesterday and it seems I am totally sold with it already and it met my expectations (so far). I just hope someone can share a little bit more of nitty gritty details... like the stability assist, there seems to be no indicator light that it's On or Off. so yesterday I was hesitant to really push it as I might tip over.

Also my agent told me that they were not able to figure out how to make the wiper washer work on the GLX model (but it's there!). There was also no spare tire cover when they initially said there was. Sadly I was not able to see the GLX in the metal since it got released soon to the lucky owner thereafter it arrived in their stable.

No off-roading of course, only "rough" roading - unpaved bumpy roads.

Can't comment fully on rush hour traffic fc since it has no mid to view instantaneous fc.
However, the reading above also includes one sitting in traffic for an hour cause of a flood and the every day traffic in katipunan ave.

Actually, im quite impressed since my previous daily small car averages between 12 to 14kpl using the same route and time of day.
Btw. Same fuel station and gas. Same m/t.

Nice![emoji108]What's the current tire size, sir? Stock front wheel well/bumper can only clear 215/75/15. You can go taller & a bit wider now.[emoji106]

    still stock 205's.
will defer the tire purchase to early next yr but yes, im in the hunt for all terrain ones. Don't want to go full blast to 235's as it will hurt my acceleration and it needs to shave off part of the fender liner to clear.

main reason why i upgraded the suspension today was i got this one running at past 100kph the other day, and it was bone jarring when i hit some potholes.
will most likely go next weekend to some offroad parts east of manila to test the suspension.
