    Latest update:

Finally went to Ceejay's inspite of the distance from my place. Great customer service and very professional staff. They replaced the evaporator coil after detecting leaks (which rapide did not point out earlier) and it solved the problem. Price is very reasonable as well and tsikoteers are given a discount. They noticed though that compressor is now a suspect and I agree since there is now this high pitch noise and it does not blow cold air in traffic. The quote given to me though to replace the compressor is quite significant so I have not decided yet. Will probably keep the jimny for the driving lesson of my son or pag may baha.

Meanwhile, now looking at the ecosport as the wifey prefers a small suv like the jimny but a 4-door option.

Update: went back to Ceejay's yesterday. CB's contact does not have the stock for thr compressor this time. So I got a Brand new compressor, system cleaning pati condenser. Putik na un lumalabas. Anyway, you can imagine the cost but the owner still gave me a discount (thanks to bro CVT). Finished at 7pm!

Crossing my fingers the aircon works this time. So far 2nd day consistent pa ang lamig.

Replaced 4 tires only to find out that the tie rod ends need replacement. Ugh! Another weekend of spending.

Was your worn tie rods making noise or vibrations?

Vibrations and made the death wiggle more pronounced. So far the wiggle went away but I havent tested it yet with the 70-80 kph run.

Update: drove the jimny on the skyway and reached 100kph and felt no wiggle at all. Steering felt light though but cant remember how it felt when it was brand new. Changed 4 tires with dunlop 205/65/15, 4 tie rod ends, balanced and aligned.

Oo bro, kulang2 60K naubos ko dito sa aircon at steering. I had it replaced sa Bridgestone dealer malapit sa amin sa may acacia, taguig. Bought the dunlop tires na din from them (3+1 promo).

Edit: P27K sa 4 tires, 4 tie rod end, balance and align.
