    *larshell,

i'll be getting my jimny next month na. i found this pic from the net, gusto ko yun tires nya and naka-lift sya. my question is will my FC suffer if i fit tires like this? and sobrang overkill ba if I use this for mostly city use and some occassional weekend out of towns

Wow! Nice Photo. Sana may front shots. Saan Suzuki casa kaya ito?
Looking at the photo, lift is almost the same as mine. Tire size is around 28 to 29
Ang kulang nalang sa set up ko is Roof-rack, Steel Bumper and body color Rim's.

Now going to your questions. FC will definitely suffer but minimal only. Speedometer will no longer 100% accurate due to tire size. Kaya it will give you bad FC for a 1.3 engine. Ako I'm now using my iPhone gps for measuring the distance as I travel around the city and out of town. GPS can also give more accurate speed. Basing on my GPS and my computations I'm now getting 8.7 to 9km/lt with that kind of lift. Take note that I don't have the steel bumper and roof rack. Take-off will also suffer and braking will take longer to full stop.

Syempre kung may loss may gain din. You will gain height that can give you more ability to thru obstacle that stock height wont give you. Tsaka mas kaya mo lumusong sa mas malalim na baha. Mud Tires naman will give you more ability on muddy road and syempre iba ang durability ng mud tires compare to HT tire. You can lower tire pressure to 18psi that can give you more comfortable ride. Not mentioning the pogi points. Head turner yan for sure. IMHO

After almost 2yrs battery of my Jimny is now busted. Ang hirap humanap.
I have no choice but to get it at Suzuki Caloocan. Battery size is SN40 if I'm not mistaken, reverse polarity and it has very small polarity post. It cost me Php3,442 None maintenance free. I have to add distilled water from time to time. Brand name is FB I believe it made from Japan not sure though I'm only assuming coz I only see FB batteries on SUV from Japan.

I also had My 20,000 PMs This is also, probably the last trip to casa of my Jimny.
They change the Oil and spark plugs for free. Sarap pag libre. ;D

sir twice na akong nag-palit ng battery ng jimny, sa mga motolite outlets meron. mukhang mahal yan for a non-maintenance free batt. if I remember correctly di umabot 4k ung motolite maintenance batt.
reverse polarity din sya from the original pero abot naman yung batt cables kahit mabaliktad poles.

20,000 PMS free lahat including oil, filter, and Plugs Yan ang deal ng mga Suzuki casa ngayon.

Battery kasi is very small reverse polarity na tapos ang liit pa ng poste.
I don't if the earlier models has the same battery size. SAkto lang yun haba ng wires.

Saan ka naka bili. Nakarating na nga ako Quezon city wala ako makita.
Sumubok ako ng hindi reverse polarity bitin. Sakto lang yun wires for reverse polarity. Tapos babawasan pa yun poles kasi maliit masyado yun terminal.
Ayoko naman mag convert. What year model ng unit mo Sir?
