Nalula ako sa presyo ng injections coils, P5K+ a pop. I had to replace both kasi bali na pareho. The Jimny is running better now, no more tope!

Remember to get the Genuine Suzuki kingpin bearings.. yung mga replacement bearings walang rubber gasket ata yun.. nung nagpalit ako nun ko lang napansin ang difference. Nabawasan din naman yung wobble. :D

Matagal ko nang gustong bumili ng Jimny. My APV reached 100,000 kms recently. I would say that it's in tip-top shape and has never given me any headache kaso mataas na ang mileage and I need a backup car just in case. Been actively looking at OLX. Saw a black 2011 Jimny MT selling for P470,000 last Monday. Very good deal since less than 20,000 mileage. By Wednesday the ad was gone so nabenta na agad. Then I saw the same car -- different picture, higher resolution -- on sale at P588,000! Grabe ang inflation. :-) Moral lesson, pag may good deal, grab it right away. And so my hunt for a Jimny continues.

it might not be the same item for sale, even if they look exactly alike, including the number plate.
there are times that the picture that appeared is not the same item on sale.. honest mistake versus intentional deception.

i remember my old car.. it was barated by a bayan seller.. a couple of weeks later, i saw an ad of my car being sold for a higher sum. i just felted sorry for the buyer, as i knew just what was wrong with the car, and i knew that, given the circumstances, the seller could not have made an honest repair..

isipin nyo na lang... the next car could be a better buy than the one that got away..

Fyi lang for the Jimny owners here, Motolite now makes reverse polarity maintenance free batteries that fit our rides. Just had my stock batt replaced and they charged me Php3,690 for it; a Motolite Gold one.

    No mud flaps?

    No problem

Done in 30mins, just needed drilling with 10mm drillbit.

Catalog doesnt show part numbers for these flaps, i just learned that it can be done after seeing some Jimny's with flaps.

Part number for Front: 99000-99004-X01, Rear 99000-99055-JBS.

P2183 for front, P1833 for rear at Zuk UN Ave(1-alliance)-highly recommended, mabilis magparating ng pyesa from planta.

Hello, just got my Jimny a few weeks ago and now planning to do some modification in the future, though I'm a fan of off roading im not really into the hardcore trail type. I'm looking into modifying my Jimny towards the Rally side of things, can someone recommend me any local website or group, which is more dedicated in rallying that I can join to lurk, and gather some infos on how I can modify my Jimny to be a rally machine. Please take a look at this video to see what I'm talking about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvlGaAU_i_I

    Thanks guys.

Buying a 2015 Jimny AT this week. Already read this thread from page 1 :-).

Like Zook here, I also own an APV with 125,000 mileage and still in great shape. So this Jimny, na "crush" ko na decades ago, will be my 2nd Suzuki and will be my daily driver.

Pinagpilian ko Jimny or a Ducati Monster 795 :-).

I saw the red one, very nice, but will get the black one instead. I was able to haggle more freebies (on top of the usual), like alarm, back up sensors, rain visors. Tapos the unit now already comes with a cabin filter. This thread really helped a lot in knowing all the info about owning a jimny. Excited to get it and will post pics soon!

I got a similar steel bumper for the Jimny. It has a front receiver hitch built in. Got it from Top4x4 off road in Makati and delivered to Banawe. Great service. The bumper lights in the bumper are extra cost options.

Balak kong lagyan ng a pair of 4" speakers sa rear. Paano ba maglagay nung speakers? Kailangan bang baklasin yung mga panels (para 1 big piece sya)?

Yes. The panels are quite big. I had my usual guy Jemson dismantle the interior and install the speakers.

No need to use 4wd drive imho. You drive on pavement all the way be it kennon/marcos/naguilian....
