will defer the tire purchase to early next yr but yes, im in the hunt for all terrain ones. Don't want to go full blast to 235's as it will hurt my acceleration and it needs to shave off part of the fender liner to clear.

main reason why i upgraded the suspension today was i got this one running at past 100kph the other day, and it was bone jarring when i hit some potholes.
will most likely go next weekend to some offroad parts east of manila to test the suspension.
How's the ride now, sir? Can't expect comfort from such a short wheel-based vehicle. Funny, I never complained about its stock ride....you can play w/ pressure.
Go a tad wider & perhaps w/ less offset(hubcentric spacers) as you've raised its center of gravity. That should get some stability back.
    Grats, sir![emoji106]

I got the adjustable shocks and so far so good. Only tested on some humps and im not jumping on my seat when i hit it with speed. Hehe.

Yep, i tried to play with tire pressure before but can't find the perfect combo. So, alas, the decision to upgrade it.

Minor tradeoff, i may not be able to clear trinoma parking cause of the added lift and roof rack. [emoji3525]

It's not technically mine, I only get to do maintenance, not use.[emoji852]...a '14, before they switched to your wheels. Same bumpers.[emoji4]

    Hope you like it.
Most say it is more refined ride wise and spacious compared to previous gen. Though waiting time for the unit is very long.

Same. Not a fetish though. I just find them cute.
My top 3 choices before ending up with this as a replacement for my mirage is this, mazda 2 hb, and yaris previous gen.

Like walter said, they are practical and easy to park.

I coveted those same 3 options. Still having an eye out for a previous gen Yaris. The 2DJ HB, you should add to your fleet...poor man's MX5. A bud has both the DJ & the ND. I see the same grin.[emoji16]
Here's an OT pic of our recent work run.....mixed w/ much fun.[emoji4]

di yata naiitindihan ng mga pumipila sa bagong Jimny what they're in for. that car uses live axle.

for example, pag nalubak ka sa kabilang side ng car, ramdam sa kabilang side ng car yun. in this age, na kung anu-ano ang gingawa ng car manufacturers to make our cars feel like so soft to ride yet built tough, with independent suspensions or multi-link rear systems, Hindi bang for the buck yan Jimny na yan unless you are an off-roader like those people who hangout near JT's Manukan in Gilmore st. with their old-school Suzuki samurais / Ferozas,

it's not built for a city driving car. Suzuki Philippines will not admit that to you. and now, mag demand pa sila ng 100k reservation fee. well, good luck na lang sa Inyo

if I were you, ask for a test drive. and then pag nasa road, when you see a manhole na Hinde pantay sa pavement, subukan nyo ibagsak dun yun isang gulong, simplehan nyo na lang yun Suzuki personnel escort nyo,

pag ang bagsak ng gulong is tipong may sumakit sa muscle nyo, o biglang nag-sway ulo ng passenger nyo , yun na yun , if you cant accept being like that all throughout the life of the car.

but I doubt if there is a test drive now, kasi 100K na ang asking eh

I know what you're talking about, OB sir...& I still would want 1.[emoji4]
Been thru both no & new tech...between them I prefer the former. The Jimny is simple to own & use. Those seeking comfort should look elsewhere....like a Camry.[emoji4]
