Suzuki APV [Merged Threads]

I walk along the stretch of Banawe St. to ask for any store that have surplus apv parts,
one store said they have only Suzuki Carry surplus and not the apv's for it was still new in
the market. Several stores answer the same and also in regards to the rebuilding kit of the
automatic transmission.

While browsing for parts at swa, i checked a/t and so far ive seen 7bearings.. If the a/t specialist is good,they will be able to see the problem.
Matagal lang na baklasan yan kaya most shops wants whole replacement kaagad.

yung ugong. mahirap kasi na ikaw ang nasa manibela at sila lang makakarinig. baka
kasi hindi doon galing yung tunog.

kumpara kasi sa nangyari last month sa sasakyan ko(apv) at sa sasakyan ng kuya
ko (space gear):

yung sa apv ko me tumutunog sa ilalim (tokotok lang) ang pinalitan yung
stabilizer linkage.

habang sa kuya ko ang lakas ng tunog (krak, blag hehehe) hanggang likod
ang pinanggagalingan ng tunog. kahit malayo naririnig. pinacheck lahat ng
shocks at bushing pero ang sira pala parehas lang kami. stabilizer bushing din
pero nagtataka kami kung bakit me tunog hanggang sa likod ng sasakyan.

sana ma solve mo na rin yang mga gusto mong ipaayos sa sasakyan mo
para worry free na....

When was the last time you replaced gear oil? Baka tuyot na o low level..

I had it change this October 13, 2012 and the oil was colored brown when it was drained out.
This is a second hand car and it has 67,000 km on it already when I bought it this October.

Thank you sir for the info. After seeing how many and complicated the parts are in the assembly, I will not
let just anyone disassemble the transmission. By the way, I followed up at the shop and they send the rear
axle to the machine shop today. Because they said that the axle bearings was making the sound. I hope
they are right because the mechanic at Wheeler did not found anything wrong with it. Still keeping my
fingers crossed if this is the only problem and if not, will just keep on using the car until I can find a surplus
transmission and a specialist.

I came to a conclusion that it better to buy a new automatic transmission car or a second hand that run
only 30,000 km so that we can have it PMS and prevent any problems in the future because we don't know
if the previous owner do this PMS. Unless he can show you the PMS of the car then you can be sure it's
in good running condition.

Yes sir, I made a mistake of not going to the rear of the car to listen where
the sound is coming from because I want to make sure the sound is there
when I accelerate the car.
Anyway, I hope the mechanic is correct that the sound came from the axle
bearings. If not, will try . . . . . .and try to find what is wrong again.

( Maybe it's better to buy a manual second hand car if it is already more than five years old? )

Thank you teteng, got the side mirror guard also at Goldcars auto accessories in Banawe St. in Q.C.
The floor mat was already included when I bought the car this month. I will ask them when I pass
by if they have the mat.

They have the matting material but we have to leave them the original mat for them to
copy the pattern.

planning to replace my interior door panels for a better design.. and more comfortable of course.. since I have a GA model. its only a marine wood wrapped with vinyl...

around magkano kaya sa CASA ang interior door panels? or maybe pa-sadya sa mga gumagawa for interiors?

sana meron sa banawe or evangelista shops na surplus.. hehhee.... para kumpleto pati handles..etc..

for it was hard to look for a replacement and will be installing it on Saturday.
I hope it's finish by Monday.

Thank you sir for the info, the differential gear assembly is much less
complicated than the automatic transmission assembly.

I called the shop this Monday and they have to open and check the
bearings inside the differential gear housing despite having replaced
the axle bearings because their was still a sound when they test run
the car. I ask if they are sure that the sound was coming from the diff
and not the transmission? They said yes and they got it opened, only
today because they have to buy the socket to open it ?
They said that they have to replace four bearings in the carrier after
already replacing two in the axle. It's almost a week now and I hope
they are right.

Oli, 2008 yong APV ko GA type 1 pero FC ko di talaga umabot ng 8/L, 6 to 7 /L lang talaga ang kaya niyang itipid sa gas,
kahit binago kuna driving habit ko, kahit pinapa drive ko na sa iba yong di mabigat ang paa, considering good driver same road condition ganon parin,
KULANG KAYA SA TUNE UP? PMS ko sinusonod ko lahat.
Any avdice mga BRO kon ano gawin.

hmmmm.. may i ask for some details so we can research for the cause..

Oil viscosity?
Traffic situation?
how do you estimate/calculate fuel consumption?
spark plugs?
air filter?
also how many kilometers traveled?

1. oil viscocity = casa recommended as per manual
2.traffic situation= mixed moderate 20% traffic, 80% highway
3.spark plugs= regularly change as per manual, every 10,000T kilometer Minsan 5,000T
4. 85km / 12.5L ( full tank on departure two clicks & full tank on arrival same two clicks of the gasoline station nozzle)
using premiun gas.
please note : hindi pa ito napaayos or repair outside sa casa/ in short casa maintain siya.
normal passenger onboard 5 to 6 include driver, 50 to 60kgs

May problema kaya makina ko?...doubt lang kc,,,ANY ADVICE.... THANKS IN ADVANCE..
