Took my apv out to MOA today.

    Good news:
    1. Looks ok outside and inside.
    2. Good head and legroom.
    3. Comfortable riding compared to my year 2000 model Toyota Hiace
    4. Easy to drive and park.
    5. Cool aircon.
    6. Acceleration and power is ok.
    7. My kids like it.

    Bad news:
    1. Idle bearing or something is still making a sound when the aircon compressor is engage and reving the engine above 2k rpm.
    2. There's a humming sound( umu ugong) produced underneath when I reach over 40 km per hour speed.
    3. Spent 37,261.50 Php for rack and pinion replacement.
    4. Spent 18,400.00 Php for aircon general service and compressor repair.
    5. My left leg is a little bit uncomfortable by the wheel well above the tire.

At Suzuki service center yesterday, they advice that the idle pulley needs to be replace. In regards to the
humming sound, they said it was coming from the automatic transmission gear box and advice that
the strainer be replace inside the oil pan because, maybe the ATF is not circulating properly or clogged.
They said that the strainer cost 4K Php + and the oil pan gasket cost 1k Php +.

This is the cost of buying a second hand car.

tsk... dont worry sir.. after all those repairs, your APV will be good as new.. comfort and safety for your family is one of the good and priority things that can counter those prices.. even up to the third row. maluwag yan...

try to contact olympia sir regarding those repairs.. or maybe speedyfix or your suking automatic transmission specialist.. baka maka mura compared from casa prices.

in regarding your driving comfort.. yes i experienced that as well.. masikip nga ang foot area natin dahil sa wheel wells.. ako nasanay after a couple of days..

3.5 years of service is very good already sir, I get my battery at Jawe Marketing at 470 Banawe St. in front of Orthopedic in Q.C..
His not a Motolite distributor but the last battery I got from them was dated February 2008 and I had it change only this summer 2012.
His Tel. No. 712-3303, maybe he can recommend a battery for the apv.

Yes sir, it was just very unfortunate for me to have this apv. I thought getting it for 360k Php was a good deal but it back
fired on me. Now, I am trying to fix and restore it. It's a challenge for me in a way and I learned many things from this
experience. My kids like the apv so I can't back out now.

Sorry sir, not familiar with in Makati area but if their is a Blade car accessories store in the malls there, they can help you
set up your sound system. I bought two 9 inches headrest monitor for 15k Php with free installation from them at SM San
Lazaro, Manila. Bought my 7 inches in dash lcd monitor at Sony OK Car Accessories in Banawe St. Q.C.(setup in my other car)

By the way saw this last week at Suzuki. Wish this was my car.

regarding speakers sir.. best is to have it auditioned... from a number of speakers that I have heard.. it is still with your own ears... i think it was last year lang where somebody won in an event where only targa speakers were used..

its all about the tuning, installation, etc...

but of course.. branded types has performance, etc..etc..etc...

also depends on the budget.. hahahaha!

Found out that one of the plastic hook at the third row seat was broken and had to temporary used an aluminum
    key chain hook instead.

These plastic clip fasteners that guides the seats when you fold and tumble it are very hard to find, even at Banawe, Q.C.,
so I drilled through the end of the rod and place a washer. Then inserted a nail and bend it.

    Just sharing, thank you.
