When I parked my apv last Sunday at a Mall and prepares to turn
off the engine, it was making this certain vibrating/ noise in front.
I opened the hood of the car to inspect it and the fan's frame was
vibrating thus making the noise and I thought one of the fan blades
was broken. I turn off the A/C switch to stop the rotation of the fan
and switched it back again. The fan rotates again but did not make
    this vibrating/ noise.

Looks like I have to schedule a mechanic to check the radiator
fan blade motor to see what is wrong.

My mechanic came at 11:30 am today and pull out the radiator
auxiliary fan motor. According to him it's disposable and I have to
buy a new one because the bushing inside was damage already.

They removed the air snorkel first.

    Drained the coolant out.

Removed the auxiliary fan motor assembly.

    Removed the fan blades.

    Removed the fan motor.

Have to buy the fan motor in Quezon City.

Exact fan motor and four wire connectors.

Did not find a four wires fan motor here in my area so I
have to send somebody to buy it in Q. C..

The price of Denso fan motor made in Korea was 6 to 6.5k Php.

I decided to get the original and it was selling up to 9.5k at Motor one auto
    supply.

I called up Carryboy branch in Banawe St., Quezon
City last year to inquire about the rear spoiler and
mirror but they answered, they have no more stock
regarding the Suzuki apv's accessories !

They don't know if they will import this yet and only
the roof basket is available at present.

Really nice to have this on the apv.

    Just sharing, thank you.

I remember replacing my aux fan at Suzuki Alabang for 9k during my 135k kms PMS. It really pays to shop around.

My APV is now turning 8yrs old (140k kms) and is showing signs of old age. My coolant is always empty on a weekly basis and medyo bawas na din agad tubig ko sa radiator. This has been going on for about 2mos now. Had it checked sa casa on my 140k PMS and they didn't find anything wrong with the car.

    Anybody had any similar experience?

    Thanks.

Yung 9k pala was with thermostat, radiator hose (outlet) and labor. The actual price para sa aux fan sa Suzuki Alabang was 7,783.81.

The culprit was a hose leak sa may taas ng engine. Since nasa may taas sya ng engine, pag pumatak natutuyo agad which explains why I thought wala namang leak.

After 140k kms (almost 8 years), my APV runs and feels like new! Pero I still will not recomend this vehicle simply because of the cost of ownership plus its ridiculous mileage (I get 7kms/l). About 3 years ago, I tried having it maintained sa suking talyer ko where I also get my 1997 Suzuki Esteem maintained (sold it last year). Unfortunately, mas lumalaki gastos ko sa kanila dahil nauulit lang ang labor at parts cost since kulang sila sa experience on Suzuki cars. Yung Esteem ko na lang ang ipiname-maintain ko dun while I returned sa casa with regards to my APV's PMS. Casa labor costs an arm and a leg talaga but the trouble-free experience is worth it specially since the wife drives the gas-guzzler van

Thank you sir teteng, they have a branch beside Goldcars and they have
these roof baskets and step boards for the apv's. The step boards
cost 7,500.00 Php without drilling holes if installed. Did not saw any
body kit for the apv's although they sells rear spoilers of other cars.

By the way, this is the material they would use to make the floor
matting in the apv but we have to leave them the original to copy
it and would cost around 2,000.00 Php at Goldcars.

That's a good price already sir Macky, I did not inquire the fan motor at
Suzuki at that time because my mechanic was waiting for the parts that
day. Thank you for the info and will try to inquire the price next time at
    Suzuki parts also.

That apv has serve you well already with that mileage and age sir although it's
not that economical to run. My apv is also a gas-guzzler but since it's an
automatic, I like driving it. Rubber hoses do leaks at that age so please
check it regularly. Fan belts, valve cover gasket, oil pan and ATF gasket,
fan motor, radiator should be checked.

Yes, CASA charge very high parts and labor but I also agree that
they work better in servicing our apv's than other shops.

Anyway, it's nice to hear your apv's has no problems now.

    Thank you.

    San po located ang Goldcars?

    TIA!

BTW, I could have bought another car (probably a K10) if I would add my APV's cost of ownership, hehe.
