mbt and i did a short test drive and a walkaround of the APV here in tsikot. Here is the link (also with pics)

yeah, i just saw them today. great work guys for the review. how about suzuki reliability and the over-all long term maintenance cost? will a suzuki be at par with a toyota in these aspects?

sobrang aga to tell about the resale value..generally suzukis hold their resale value well..generally matibay ito..parts may konting kamahalan since hindi ito popular masyado compared with toyotas, mitsus..etc.

btw, any info on the APV's origins? i.e. is it based on a previous suzuki model, or brand new sya from the ground up?

Gusto ko din ito for my extra car choosing between this and yung suzuki swift.

it's getting too tempting to let go of my honda mini for this semi-biggie :-)

i will let you know in November if naka-APV na ako ... please keep the post going (those who ACTUALLY test-drove it and those who ACTUALLY own it). medyo irritating yung opinions na based on 2nd hand, even 3rd hand info ...

congratulations to all new APV owners!

Para sa kin mas nakakatakot pa nga yung ibang cars na minass produce from other countries, di ba pinagmamalaki ng suzuki cbu from japan mga unit nila it means mas ok ang quality control nito kumpara sa ibang car na inassemble sa ibang asian countries just to lower their price. Suzuki is one of the most underrated na car manufacturer dito sa atin, pagsabayin mo fortuner at jimny sa offroad baka hindi pa makasabay fortuner dito. Am not biased nakafortuner ako, am eyeing on the swift lately ganda nya.

Hi!Just want to ask all APV owners, have you already returned your units for the breakin period or waiting for the 5k check?

    Thanks

    Mikey_mike,

CBU from Indonesia yung APV while CBU from Japan yung Jimny.

    Macky/All,

I'm planning to test drive my APV A/T, got it only last week, and am still waiting for the licensed plate, btw, I got it from Suzuki Pasong Tamo.

Can you share tips on how to properly break-in an A/T APV? I came from a M/T background, my previous was a Mazda B2200 pick-up which i sold to get an APV.

So far, I logged 100 Kms pa lang, and am not using it going to and from work.

Question: Will a wider and lower profile tires/rims do any good to its pick-up like comfort? Definitely, it will do got aesthetically :-) If it will, I'll definitely get a set.

    Thanks

Hope to see you all on the road.

Whoever said it does not own an APV!

The transmission is svelt and pays attention to what your gear need is. Broad ang torque band nya kaya power will always be there when needed.

Saw those good quality leathers sa PilHino nung kuhanin ko yung sasakyan ko pero the price quotation that I got was too steep.

Coventry Square can make one. They are beside Equipt in Banawe. The price for four rows was about Php 3K++ dati. I don't know now. Pero depends on design and materials pa din.
