i owned apv sgx matic bought 2nd hand 2012 model last 2 months. fc ko 5-6k/liter shell fuel save gamit ko..nagpalit ako petron xcs 7-8k/liter..then change oil sa shell fullysynthetic worth 3400 kasama na filter. fc ko 9-10k/liter city driving ganun po ba mejo malakas sa gas? gusto ko sana magpalit ng iridium spark plug ngk pwede ba sa apv? sa honda city ko iridium gamit ko malaki difference sa fc. pwede kaya sa apv? thanks god bless!!!

Seems your ride has better FC. My 2005 matic is somewhere in thr 5-6km/li. I do recall I used AC-Delco synthetic for the oil change, before that its Royal Purple which was faring better. Maybe it didn't like the oil...

Just went into flooded streets in Marikina this morning, almost wheel-level. But my ever-trusted APV swam like hot knife through butter. A new Sportage model in front of me thought they won't make it so it sought refuge in a gas station that's on higher ground. I still win, yippee

Parang customize ang mangyayari kapag pinagawa nyo yung front compartment. sa mga gumagawa ng carbon fiber kits baka tumatanggap sila ng ganong customization.

thanks sir rapid fire👍,... petron xtra unleaded pala gamit ko hindi xcs. fc 6-7 city driving, mas okay sya update ko lng kayo.. kanina 10k/l highway kagagaling ko lng ng calamba... ☺

Just sold my 10yr old 2005 Suzuki APV with 165,000kms. Yahooooooooo!!!!! Good luck with your APVs.

Owning a car with parts that can be easily sourced out is really a very good change. Had a great run with my APV. Not as much as I enjoyed my previous 1997 Suzuki Esteem though.


Only left with one Suzuki in our garage. The best Suzuki we've owned so far....

To the remaining APV'ers,

Has anyone used Iridium or Platinum spark plugs on your APV? I'm still using the OEM BKR6E plugs.

Madaling nakawin ba ang spare ng APV?
Do I have to buy a lock for the spare?
Do I need to increase the insulation for the engine or ok lang sya?
I've seen some glove box conversions done for the empty slot where the optional airbag is. Where can I buy this?

Ok naman kahit di na dagdagan ng insulation. Malamig parin kahit tirik ang araw.

BTW just hitch from a co-worker going to work with his montero, i felt the ride was stiff kaysa sa ating APV. Riding comfort ng APV was much better. Looks lang talaga ang monty.

Mungkahi lang o suggestions po. Try palit air filter and change your ATF, before replacing your spark plugs to iridium. And check its Ignition Timing too. Then observe nyo po kung may pagbabago rin sa Fuel Consumption. [emoji4]

Took the APV for a spin yesterday and had a nice time naman driving. Took me a while to go back learning manual after driving automatic for years. I like the power of the APV, very responsive. As I parked it in the garage, i've noticed that is way shorter than a Honda City but a lot roomier. Some other questions/concerns that I hope you guys could help out.

1. I was playing around with the Odometer and saw it had a Trip A and B and had one mode that showed three o's (ooo). Anybody knows what that is for?
2. The wipers chatter too much. Is this normal?
3. The middle seats aren't locking in place. I think I have to adjust this as well.
4. I have the GLX model and seems that I only hear 2 speakers on the doors. I've notice there are speaker receptacles on the dash and at the back 3rd row seating. Are these empty?
5. Does anybody have any idea how much is it to get a duplicate key fob at Suzuki? Any alternative?

The three ooo might be brightness level of instrument cluster. Read the manual.

since replacing piston rings, valve seals and valve cover, its been great! switched to Motul fully synthetic and it runs very smooth

Fc is still 5.5km/l city and 8.3km/l highway.

alog lang yung brake caliper ko. sabi ng supervisor sa casa lumuluwag daw talaga minsan. the fix is to put a sleeve sa pin to prevent it from shaking.

any thoughts?
