*mrjeff Nice one! Thank you sa recommendation, sir! Si Mr Jun saan siya base? Subukan ko tawagan siya bukas.Originally Posted by mrjeff
I see. Pag for example valve body ang kailangan irepair, gaano kamahal kaya at gaano katagal gawin ito? Tapos paano pag carrier, bearing, pump at clutch lining, gaano din kamahal at katagal usually?
The APV is now back on the road! I just bit the bullet and pushed through with the casa service. The problem was solved by changing the ATF and transmission filter. But the problem is that there are no parts for the transmission filter outside and I need the car fixed asap.
Total bill is PHP 10,665 after discounts (originally PHP 11,903) with the services mentioned above, plus some adjustments for valve tappet/clearance.
They are recommending me to change the P/S fluid, gear oil, fuel pump and filter which will bring the total amount to around PHP 31,500. I don't see any issue with the fuel pump though. For the P/S and gear oil, I'll just have it changed by my suking talyer.
The van is running great! Thanks to everyone!![]()
P10,665 for an ATF oil change!?!?! I survived 165,000kms without changing the fuel pump and filter (nasa loob ng fuel tank kaya magastos labor). Among the fluid changes, gear oil lang ang medyo advisable at medyo cheap.
If I were to do it all over again, after ng warranty ko pa sana na-dispose APV ko. Bakit kasi mabigat ang sentimental value sa akin, the APV being the first car I bought dito sa Pinas.
The Swift on the other hand is really something. I love this car.... so far hehe.
*Macky Hahahaha I know how you feel!
Filter palang is PHP 5,544 na, special order pa. :D
APV Update: Changing tires. Got around 48,000 km from it. Not bad na din vs. stock Bridgestone tires (only lasted me around 35,000 km, out of stock din nun).
New tires are Kumho PorTran KC53 185R14C 100R. Phased out na yung Kumho Radial 857. Looks more like H/T tires than the 857, plus higher speed rating.
Talaga bang mahirap mag hanap ng gagawa sa labas instead of casa if casa talagang mahal. Parang nakaka depress tuloy owning an apv grrrr![]()
Beep beep brother! See you around.Originally Posted by rapidfire_28
Yup, medyo mahirap yung parts. Yung gagawa, depende din. Alala ko 2 years ago yata bumili ako ng brake shoe. Ayun, half day umikot ng Banawe walang parts. Bagsak casa parin. PHP 6,500.00 for one pair of brake shoe!![]()
What is the mileage of your van moon and rapid? Mine is around 29k, 2012 model.since then ang paniniwala ko mura maintenance nito compare sa iba,the only thing I hate with this van is yung bad or lets just say worst of worst FC nya. Mine is Manual nasa 4-7km/l lang ako sa city.
And oppss, haha my ever since problema the engine roar hahaha.(maingay :-( )
Mine is at 75,000+ km, 2009 model year SGX A/T (Type 2). My mileage is more or less the same as yours for city driving pero usually 6 km/L ako. For highway driving, I can push 10 km/L.
I find your mileage surprising because you are driving a manual yet it drinks gas like an automatic. :|
Hahaha yes! Naexperience ko din yung engine roar. Can't remember how I solved it.
Just to add I'm not my radio din pala most of the time kung gamit ko man sobrang mahina lang.kaya focus ung sense of hearing ko sa engine.
Tapos 5w40 yung meron sila. Ganun ginawa sa akin last time.
Hinigpitan yata yung air box or something.
Ngayon 50 km/week nalang siguro. Usually yung isang kotse ko yung ginagamit ko ngayon kasi lagi ako magisa nalang. Pero this Christmas season madalas APV gamit ko (Christmas hauling haha).
Average fuel mileage is around 6.5 km/L.

Updates on the APV:
Yung hesitation bumabalik nanaman. Pero hindi na talaga transmission ito. Hinala ko fuel pump na or yung ignition coil. Pag medyo babad ako sa traffic (especially after 30-60 mins of driving) medyo may sensation na umuubo yung makina pag aabante from standstill.
Pag inuubo yung kotse pinapakiramdam ko yung revving pag naka N or P ako. Ayun, parang rough yung unang buga niya. Dapat swabe yung rev pag unang tapak sa gas — yun yung normal feel niya.
Earlier this week, pumunta ako ng Suzuki Service Center.
Kanina nag pa-gas ako, parang mabilis bumaba yung gauge.
Medyo similar dito yung symptoms: http://tsikot.com/forums/suzuki-cars...65/index2.html
Yung PHP 15,000+ na quote buong fuel pump module na yun. Baka may ibang alternatives other than replacing the whole thing? Like change fuel filter lang dahil madumi na?
Merry Christmas to all!![]()
Sir moon,I remember one time meron akong kasabay sa Suzuki Caloocan same ng sinasabi mo ang pinalitan ignition coil nasa 4.5k-6.5k ata per piece Yon.sabi nya nag power loss daw pag mainit na yung engine.
