HI THERE SIR OLI. KELANGAN TLAGA YANg valves IADJUST PAG NAG PA TUNE UP KA. PERO I SUGGEST NA DAPAT MAY SPEEDOMETER KA MUNANG IPAKABIT. OTHERWISE TSATSAMBAHIN LANG YAN NG MEKANIKO. PATI MENOR MO APEKTADO. ASK NLANG DIN AKO SA LAHAT, POSSIBLE BA NA MAg pa leaf spring ang glx or sgx.? may gumawa na ba ng ganun? anu ang epekto? tsaka may nagpakabit nba sa inyo ng freeflow na airfilter? anu din ang epekto? by the way, dun sa mga may sound system na malalakas, if kapus ung power ng battery nyo, u can put 11plates na maintenance-free batt. thanks.by the way , may nakakita nba sa inyo ng apv na pick up?

eversince na nakuha ko siya.. pag bagong start, engine sound is good, but after it heats up, I can hear the tappets, not that loud but fair for me to be irritated sa noise..

I asked sir j-six last sunday and eversince he bought his APV, he also had the same tappet sound.. is this normal sa G16A engine? naririnig nyo rin ba siya?

hi sir, hehee.. regarding tune ups, not sure yet but apv's have hydraulic tappets which they say nag automatic adjustments daw?? im not yet aware on this one.. old skul kasi lang din alam ko.. mostly diesel trucks.. hahaa.. mga mala - 4BA1 - C240 na makina.. hehehe...

regarding leaf springs for our APV, its only available for the Type 1 variant... but changing them that I havent heard yet if may naka gawa na.

we have a number of APVs already that changed airfilters to K&N.. im looking forward to change mine myself but it costs quite high... planning to have a Freeflow Simota attached...

on the batteries, is there a battery with 11 plates tapos kasya sa engine bay? im also looking for one.

yes sir. still quite noisy after engine is hot na.

after my 23 point check up the technicians advised that the tappets needed to be adjusted... (pero sa casa lang ang service nun...)

im looking for other or outside opportunities to have this one fixed. else i have to resolve to have this fixed thru casa.. kaya lang.. daily drive kasi APV ko.. it will take them at least half a day.
