^ You have to remove the side bezel. If memory is right, clock and lower dash has to come out first, need to drop the glove box for better access.

*Oj, ive read some post here(doc otep if im not mistsken) philhino is somewhere at osmena/ssh, they have ac parts and install them for a fee..

*jon, what kind of sound " lagatok" or " whirring". If its lagutok, id check for worn stab links and hub bearings. Had similar noise and it was the bearing.

*tank: doesn't have camber alignment. Had my upper control arm hub-mount filed to make the adjustment. This was discussed already, just backread some pages.

Sir 12vdc, sir do you know any shop that can do the job uneven tire wear on our APV? this would be very helpful cos i really dont know much about this kind of situations...I'm from Quezon City thank you sir....

boss apv 2 walang clock and di na stock radio nakalagay kasi upgraded version from casa. bezel- yung carbon fiber sa sides?

Yes sir yung carbon side...kapain po yung pinababa ng carbon side meron yung maliit na butas fit dun yung negative na screw tas idiin mo yung screw aangat na Yon.ingat lang baka mag crack.walang knot/s yan.

Recently visited some college mate somewhere in q.c, I saw a 2010 model 2012 acquired black apv ga type II selling for only 150k (The selling price is quite tempting) I tried making querries and found out that the van isnt running and the owner told me (chinese) that he took advice from his mechanic and told him that there's problem in the cyl. Head. Caused by poor maintenance leading to breakage of timing belt.. I was planning to buy it as pangharabas so I did canvassing already for some parts.. well sadly someone bought it on that day.. well hindi nga siguro para sakin yun :-)

Anyways, any ideas mga master kung saan makakabili ng spoiler ng apv natin?? mine was 2010 ga type II.. white one thanks for inputs.. ride safe..

Hey guys,

any way we can improve the FC of our APV? 5km/liter talaga pag pure city drive.

Although when i went 100Km north of Cebu it went up to 8.3/liter so ok lang.

I have Type II A/T 45,900km odo reading

Had my emission test the other day, sabi ng suki tester ko normal daw:

here's the reading:

CO2 10.08%
CO 0.04%
HC 98 ppm
O2 7.63%
Lambda 1.50
AFR 21.89

this was taken at idle, normal operating temperature.

any thoughts on this? please share.

Walang tacho ang basic? I thought it was a standand instrument for all APVs.

There are lots of aftermarker tacho's around Banawe. Seek, ask, and you shall find.

Front spoiler, I would assume? Personally you shouldn't buy it. If up against floods or need to run over island, you need all the ground clearance you can get.

I had a Carryboy catalog with first-gen APV accessories. The front nudge bars were ***y you should go after those, if they exist here, and for newer models. Good hunting!

hi guys, just some info , i have a BNEW Gen 1 APV Carry, been to PHIL-AIR for A/C Quote, charging me 38K for the front cabin and 50 if dual AC, SUZUKI dealer in makati is charging 30k for the front cabin AC, bakit ata mas mura sa CASA parang imposible naman :D , checked out local shops also charging 30-35K using bnew parts, Condenser lang ang Surplus

apv club members and owner never experienced any squeaking sound(those who bought it brand new and 2nd hand) mostly pag 2nd hand the problem is on the engine and tranny- not well maintained by the previous owner.

i understand your dilemma, if your vehicle is still brand new, have it checked, suzuki service and warranty claims is a smooth a silk(i guess this depends on the casa) try to claim the warranty.

if it's not brand new, and if the pms is not religiously followed... warranty would be void.

Ganito rin nangyari sa akin 2 days after nauwi ko unit ko (GA) nag-SQUEAK yung right front door. Nawala nung nilagyan ko ng WD40 ang hinges pero bumalik din kinabukasan, dinala ko sa casa in-adjust nila hinges saka nawala tunog.

*keno - magkamukha apv natin. black lang tint ko. second hand din pero mas luma sa akin 2005 model. hehehe
ang repairs ko lang so far eh minors lang naman. ganyan talaga sa segunda mano sir. kung minsan tsambahan lang.

1. 2 loose thread stud bolt and nut.
2. brake pads.
3. change air cleaner.
4. change 3 pcs wiper blade.
5. change stabilizer link ( right and left) <- kasalanan ko hehehe. meron pala humps eh malakas ulan (BLAG!) nayupi tuloy.

ngayon ok na lahat. so far so good. naglagay nako headreast monitor and change headunit with indash monitor.

planning to buy separates/amplifier/subwoofer sa makati. saan ba maganda bilihan na malapit lang sa ayala?

haven't established my AVE FC yet pero initially naka 2 full tank na siya on a 500km run

Mga batikan na sa APV kelangan ko po ng tulong niyo. Nagpaplano po kasi kaming bumili ng sasakyan (fiirst car namen) at namataan namin tong APV. mas mura kasi siya kumpara sa Avanza ng kalaban at mas malakas pa ang makina. Eh nasa 600k lang po ang budget namin kaya hindi po kaya yung top of the line na APV II ba yun. Ayun po. Ito po yung tanong ko:

Ano po ba ang maganda sa APV kumpara sa Avanza at malakas po ba ito sa gasolina? Ano po fuel consumption?

Hindi ko maintindihan din yung sa sinasabi nung mas mahal na version ng APV GA na dual aircon. Medyo malaki kasi difference niya compared dun sa tig 575k na GA. Ano po ba ibig sabihin nun?

Hindi po ba mabilis magkadiperensya?

Madali ba makahanap ng parts kung sakali pong ipapagawa sa labas after ng warranty?

Okay naman po ba sa akyatan? ex. aakyat ng baguio tapos puno with bagahe.

Panget po ba yung APV GA kumpara sa APV II? Yun lang po kasi ang kaya eh. Paki state na din po ng differences nung dalawa.

Salamat po sa sasagot. Makakatulong po ito sa pagdidisisyon namin. Sa ngayon kasi medyo 40-40 po ang laban ng Avanza at APV sa aming mga isip. Yung 20 mag-commute na lang daw. hehe.

M/T nga po pala ang balak namin kasi mas matakaw daw ang A/T. Totoo po ba yun? Pakikorek na lang po kung mali. )
