1st PMS last Saturday at 437 kms. Paid Php3,525.00 at BGC for 5 liters oil, filter and free labor. Pwede naman daw i-extend ang intervals to 8 months between oil changes for low mileage units basta i-coordinate lang daw sa kanila ang actual mileage. Still no printed user manual available. Nagkita kami ng SA and he assured us he'll let us know when our promised sensors are available.

Has anyone tried putting clear film on their cars? I’m thinking of having it installed on the headlights and bumper.

My XV is at 1600+ Kms already. I'll bring it to BGC this Wednesday.

Ah so you were not given a user manual when you got the car? Bummer.

If I remember the computation of someone who posted earlier here, I think JohnM got the oil directly from Subaru and they use Shell Helix there. It costs P398/liter (VAT inclusive).

Ay ikaw pala yung nagpost about that info last month Ah so meron palang choice na Motul ang gamitin sa casa mismo?

Baka nga Motul. Will check the receipt kung nandun ang brand. Wala namang option nabanggit samin when we were there.

Hehe yezzir. shell 5w30 or motul 5w40. Service advisor recommended shell, since motul is recommended for engines with turbo, pwede na daw shell for xvs. So i purchased shell (and ofcourse its cheaper haha) [emoji1]

Exactly 5w30 talaga recommended for our XV's.

I think Motor Image is now using Shell Helix Ultra 5w30 as the primary oil option for their model line-up. Ford also uses the same oil for their vehicles with Ecoboost engines.

Motor Image used Motil 5w40 as the primary option before. Now, it is still offered but an alternative to Shell Helix Ultra 5w30.

The Subaru FA20 engine (WRX, FXT) requires 5w30 FS Resource Conserving oil but you can use 5w40 FS oil when 5w30 is not available.

I believe it costs as much as $1500 or more as option sa ibang bansa, so I think 50K is a good price kung ganun.

Looks like I'll be a happy camper if the senate version is approved. Most likely 2nd half of next year pa ako... by that time naman siguro wala na pila ang TOTL XV

Good luck with that. Pinipilahan ang XV ngayon. According to our SA a batch of more than a hundred units came in and were all snatched up within days. May mangilan-ngilan na lang na naiwan dahil di type ng nag-reserve ang color pero I don't think they'll remain unsold for long. Hintay ka next year when the hype dies down.

Malabo with the XV as demand is high. They do offer discounts for the Forester and Levorg.

If the discount is big, why not. It is still a Subaru XV despite being a previous generation. It's not like you are losing much over the new model.

When I got my SH Forester before, they gave me 100k discount, upgraded sound system, and a back-up camera.

The discount and freebies are really good for outgoing models.
