the trick is to administer the vaccine in the fastest possible time once withdrawn from storage....

i am thinking, researchers are settling for these very-low-temp vaccines, because they do not have the luxury of time to look for another vaccine.
i am confident, later vaccines will not be as temperature-dependent.
it's just a matter of time.

before we even talk about whether the Philippines can handle and distribute those very fragile mRNA vaccines all over the country........

The pragmatic approach would be to get all the effective vaccines from all sources. Even if we made a deposit already we won't get much supply from any manufacturer in the near future. And the longer we wait, the worse for our country. Have to put our eggs in as many baskets we can.
