“Its 44 families cramped in a 70-square meter compound, makes Certeza in great risk of community transmission,” said Kimpo.
Like Certeza Compound, Alley 2 Homart Road has also been recommended by the QCHD to be placed under special concern lockdown due to the dense population in the area
At present, QC-ESU head Dr. Rolly Cruz said there are nine confirmed cases in the area, with one death, while the others are either confined in various HOPE facilities or undergoing quarantine at home.
“An estimated 156 families, comprising of 500 individuals, will undergo rapid testing to help determine the spread of COVID-19 in the area,” said Cruz.

kinda unfair sa mga schools na ready mag online classes, like sa school ng kids ko. sayang kasi ang one year, anong gagawin ng mga bata? well, at least bigyan ng option ang mga parents, like kung sino may gusto and capable eh ituloy ang pag aaral ng bata. sa may ayaw naman at hindi kaya, next year na lang sila.
Hindi yata kasama mga online classes.

and that is the reason why lockdown and social distancing just doesn't cut it in our local situation.
in retrospect, our authorities should have known about this and did "something else".
ah well... watch and learn...
i will admit, i wouldn't know what to do...
but after two months, we probably will have learned what will work in our unique situations, and what won't...
