Somebody should be held accountable for 'second wave' remark? Roque says, 'Sana po' | News | GMA News Online
I heard the explanation of an infectious disease doctor why it's important to label it correctly.
Kung sinasabi daw kasi na second wave na ngayon then what we did is not working since we weren't able to contain it kaya nagkaroon ng second wave.
And kung second wave daw ito Saan tayo mag based kung ano dapat baguhin sa mga maling ginawa sa "first wave" para ma contain itong so called second wave.
An I get their point na dapat sobrwng ingat mag labas ng information mga officials ngayon since everybody on edge. Hinde pwede kung ano lang gusto sabihin.
Iba ang dating sa tao especially kung galing sa official. Kung fake news naniniwala na eh

for data nerds ung first few imported cases from China 1st wave na yun but since it's so small we the public barely felt it
the real first wave for the public was in March which led to the lockdown
doon na-overwhelm ang Medical City and Makati Med
so the lesson to be learned sa major 1st wave is we need more healthcare capacity
para pag dating ng 2nd wave kaya ng mga ospital
Hehe...eto oh. High na high pakiramdam ni dutz.

of course we felt it!
even if i-ilan lang sila, they were still screaming in our headlines.
heh heh.
at that time, TMC and MMC had only 152 covid beds, of which at least 64 were occupied by PUIs.
today, pgh alone has 200 covid beds.
then there are the other hospitals and the converted buildings.
but all these have to be manned by competent medical personnel, and backed by adequate equipment and supplies.
but my question is, how many ICU-level beds do we have?
do we have expectations on how the 2nd and 3rd waves will compare to the still-to-be-concluded 1st wave?
