Peer review of first human test of a promising vaccine....

Coronavirus vaccine tested in China shows promise after early study in 1 people | Live Science

Two weeks after vaccination, participants in all three groups showed some level of an immune response to the virus. By 28 days, nearly all participants had developed antibodies that bound to SARS-CoV-2 (but don't necessarily attack the virus), and about half of the participants in the low- and middle- dose groups and three-quarters of participants in the high-dose group developed "neutralizing antibodies," which bind to and disable the virus to prevent it from infecting cells.

In conclusion, we found that the Ad5 vectored COVID-19 vaccine is tolerable and immunogenic in healthy adults. Specific humoral responses against SARS-CoV-2 peaked at day 28 post-vaccination, and rapid, specific T-cell responses were noted from day 14 after one shot of the vaccine. There is potential for further investigation of the Ad5 vectored COVID-19 vaccine for the control of the COVID-19 outbreak. An ongoing phase 2 trial in China (NCT04341389) will provide more information on the safety and immunogenicity of the Ad5 vectored COVID-19 vaccine.

    SinoVac Biotech...

Sinovac received approval from governmental authorities to conduct both Phase I and Phase II human clinical trials in China. The Phase I clinical trial, which evaluates the safety, tolerance, and preliminary immunogenicity of CoronaVac, commenced in April. After preliminary observation of the safety profile of CoronaVac in the Phase I study, the Phase II clinical trial commenced in May. The Phase II clinical trial evaluates the immunogenicity and safety of CoronaVac in a larger population in order to define dosage, regimen and immunization schedule. Sinovac is constructing a commercial vaccine production plant that is expected to manufacture up to 100 million doses of CoronaVac annually.

Considering the company has ZERO products...

The next day, Tal Zaks, Moderna's chief medical officer, spent $1.5 million to exercise options. He immediately sold the shares for $9.77 million, triggering a profit of $8.2 million.

Hoping the med companies aren't greedy and waive copyright, allowing generic manufacturers help mass produce them, make it affordable to all.

Di ba WHO wants the Covid vaccine to be free for everyone? Mangyari kaya eto?

    Question sa mga anti-China/dont-buy-China-products people:

If in the next few years si China lang makadevelop ng vaccine, and the other countries does not have a promising development sa vaccines nila, will you get the China vaccine?

How about the anti-vaxxers? Meron ba dito anti-vaxxers?

tapos the other available vaccine is from China only

mag papa-injection ba ang mga galit sa China?

^ I'd better isolate or get infected naturally and trust my immune system.

No to any China that's the global direction.

I'd start by not buying from Lazada, no China phones, no China cars, no to politicians supporting China and Marcos betraying Ph people & democracy.

Anywys since China lovinf country naman tayo tapos sabihin ng china free na sa mga Pinoy eh di maganda mas marami mauna mag bakuna para sila maging experiment ng china.

If the vaccine is from China, I PROBABLY won't. I will never forget the chemical tainted baby milk, dog food and lead filled kids toys. Why would I inject something in my body given their track record. Pero dati pa talaga, mid 2000s siguro, I avoid China products, but I can't escape it since everything is made in China. I limit buying na lang to items that are only outsourced in China or disposable or will not be ingested such as arts & crafts, fashion items or storage etc. Nauubos money ko buying these things in shoppee na from China. Lol. I also like xiaomi [emoji4]

Maganda naman talaga sa China ang mura, but if it goes in my body, nope.
