Harry Roque, presidential spokesman, announced on tv this early afternoon that the lockdown won't be extended beyond April 30, except for areas with many coronavirus cases. President Duterte himself will make an announcement tonight on tv.

Highlights of the announcement are: seniors will continue to stay at home; people aged 20 and below likewise; businesses will be allowed to reopen, especially those in food and medicine; transportation will gradually be restored, with social distancing; schools to reopen in August, for now.

Areas with many coronavirus infections are: Barangay Mauway, Addition Hills of Mandaluyong, where Arayat office is located; Sampaloc, Caloocan, Quezon City, etc. In these areas quarantine will continue.

We await the announcement and its specifics, tonight.

Dapat lockdown kasi para mawala na virus talaga. Kahit next week na or May 4 ang start para may 1 week ang Gov't na mabigyan ng food supply yung talagang walang-wala.

Kung wala mass testing kasi useless talaga yan. Dadami ulit yang magpopositive later.

Like how restaurants, and other businesses should implemet physical distancing.

How will they implement partial lifting of public transpo.

What will be the consequences of individuals and businesses if they don’t follow physical distancing guidelines, etc.

If not, sigurado, on the first day of lifting of the ecq, sabay sabay maglabasan mga tao without physical distancing.
