Let's say ung hospital na gagamit ng UP test kit

After iswab ung pasyente ipapadala parin yan sa pcr lab unless may sariling pcr lab ang hospital

So maghihintay parin ng ilan araw kahit ung kit mismo mas mabilis compared sa ibang kit

Ganito yun - in a lab na walang backlog

Ung tipong nag hihintay lang ng samples ang mga medtech/biotechnologist

It would take a few hours for a batch's results to come out

Pero pag may backlog specially RITM, it takes days

So it doesn't really make much difference if a test kit is "faster" than other test kits

Ung mga new cases na inaannounce ng DOH every 4pm... those are results of samples taken days ago

But yes makakatulong ang UP test kits in case naubos na mga imported test kits at least may local supplier

Just hope the local manufacturer doesn't run out of raw material kasi ung raw material na ginagamit nila is in high demand coz other test kit makers are also using the same raw materials

Its amusing to browse the DDS pages. When Luna called out the VP they were all abuzz in agreement. After an hour when the backlash started they started posting all sorts of nasty stuff against him (not being loyal enough, tried to have Digong DQed, etc.). They did the same to Koko (a closet dilawan daw with his old campaign photos with PNoy, forgetting Digong and family were also dilawan once). Now even Mocha and Badoy are thanking the VP and Vico.

what our country needs is more PCR labs kung gusto natin mag mass testing

Korea has around 100 labs



until recently PH had only 1 lab

just added a few more labs
