Chinese government said Spain didn't buy from an accredited supplier. It naturally bears the question: if the company is not accredited, then why is it allowed to sell test kits?

Are these the same test kits they used in Wuhan? No wonder there has been no new cases.

Imagine the mental damage that this test kit will do to a patient and his/her family na negative pala pero nag positive dahil sa faulty test kit nila

Never ever trust this Chinese, I'm still 50/50 about the origin of this virus, if it's natural or man made/intentionally spread it to the world.

the greater damage is an infected person tests negative

that person who should have been isolated will go around infecting other people

They just closed some of their borders with China. There is no lack down and people are working. Malls are open and they have not closed down. The rise in numbers are due to imported cases. Local transmission will be low as almost all most people in HK wear mask from the start. Now they closed the airport to tourist and those that have connecting flight due to imported cases. Those local coming in will need to stay at home for 14 days with electronic tracking device.

    ganito lang yun

Europe and US were complacent coz recent viral outbreaks were contained and didn't affect them

    SARS, MERS, ebola...

so akala nila itong corona19 ganyan din mangyayari

in short, nag pusta sila na di mangyayari sa kanila ang napanood nila nangyari sa wuhan

    kaya di sila naghanda

isipin mo january/feb napanood ng buong mundo mga videos from wuhan

    advance warning yan

pero ang nasa isip nila "that's not gonna happen here"

EH yung Taiwan... hypervigilant sa kanyang kaaway a few miles away

they had intel there was a pneumonia outbreak in wuhan in December 2019

they took it seriously and prepared

may experience sila sa SARS kaya alam nila ano dapat gawin

NAG pusta ang Taiwan na kakalat yan... tama pusta nila

    mali pusta ng West

yes they underestimated the infectiousness AND the severity

    there was an it's-only-the-flu attitude

in the early days of this thread i also had that attitude

sabi ko vitamin C lang panlaban dyan

pero the more i read about it, this is sooo NOT the flu

think of the worst feeling you get when you have the flu --- that's only MODERATE symptoms of corona19

usually you don't need to go to hospital pag flu pero this virus can send you to the hospital

    this virus was underestimated talaga

and as if we're ready for mass testing na?

kulang hospitals, walang malinaw na isolation areas, kulang health workers, malabong guidelines, kulang PPE.
