oo model country kasi walang panic mahihirap.
So far there is no looting and no mass hoarding of tissue paper.
the point is the masa, squatter eh so far eh very peaceful.
and filipino is not as crazy ng mga kano.
Model of incompetence nga lang.

Interesting.
So they're focusing their efforts on treating pneumonia, which they are prepared and equipped to do because they have excellent healthcare system, and they already have a pneumonia vaccination program for their elderly since pneumonia is the leading cause of death in their country.
As for the rest, they think "most of the infected will recover on their own thanks to their immune system".

Regarding Herd Immunity.
It will overwhelm the health care system. Not as if it isn't already, but it will be way horrible. People are dying now but many more will die.
Yes, 80% survives the virus just by their own immune system but young and generally healthy people are coming out with their own experiences with the disease. It's different for everyone. Some are asymptomatic, some are not. You don't know what you will get. Some still needed to be hospitalized. With our current situation, good luck if may makuha kang ospital.
Filipinos also live with their elders. We live with our extended families under one roof. We have informal settlers. If we get the virus, how would we protect the vulnerable?
It also gambles to the fact that viruses don't mutate, which they do and Sar Cov 2 already has. The best way for it to mutate into many more different strains is to give it a million opportunities to do so. So once we're done with million deaths, we should be ready for more, every year. It will be a recurring part of life, like a flu, but deadlier.
