    False negative...

    He had a low grade fever and went to St Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City on March 10. He was sent home for further observation when his tests showed normal results.

    Montales said the employee, who continued to nurse a fever, started having dry cough on March 11.

    He returned to the hospital on March 13 as his cough and fever worsened. He was transferred to the intensive care unit on March 15 and was considered a person under investigation, and tested for COVID-19.

    Montales said the results of the test, which were released after the employee’s death on Saturday, was positive.

    hindi agad lalabas sa pcr testing kasi may window period pa din though mas earlier sa pcr kaysa antibody.

    so false negative usually sa early symptoms.

    Sana naman meron ng isang grupo na nakatutok para sa agarang procurement nito o kahit equivalent type sya.

    Ginagamit na nila shadow. Sa provinces na madami malaria cases dati marami niyang chloroquine sa health centers, ngayon wala na, nasa hospitals na kasi yan ang gagamitin sa mga patients with severe symptoms na. Pahirapan na makabili sa drugstores.

    rapid test yan so walang pcr. And 85% accuracy lang. So uulit ka nyan.

    Hinid yan kagaya ng hiv test na 99%

    Ito pwede din shadow na kapalit nung choloroquine. Same effect. Bumili na kami just in case of emergency for my mom at mother-in-law. And reserve for the kids if ever.

    Yes OTC. Sa apat na MDC isa mang meron kaya kinuha na namin.

    A doctor friend told us about it. Mga doctors dito may reserve na din para sa kanila and we don't want to take anything from the frontliners kaya bumili na kami.

    Pero doctor lang dapat mag-administer niyan ha after a check-up. Expert mga doctors dito sa malaria cases kasi kaya alam na nila gagawin to counter the effects. Kaya nga there is a common understaning between doctors here that if the young Langit was confined here and not in the US, he would most likely survive. Iba talaga experience sa theoritical know-how.
