Actually from what i've heard, the barangay people have been very proactive issuing passes. i got mine last Saturday. Some i hear hinatid pa.


i understand that the situation is evolving, and we are adapting. But if that's the case, they have to keep everyone informed -- FB, Twitter, TV, SMS -- the tools are there.


Now, do you think that Globe, PLDT, ABS or whoever would dare not comply if the government requests an information blast? Unlikely di ba? So most likely bara bara kumilos ang gobyerno. Buti kamo di naubusan ng papel ung barangays for printing those passes. Malamang dumiskarte na sila on their own.

Now they're asking for more budget and emergency powers to boot? Ang kakapal nila. As if that would solve the inherent incompetence that led us to this mess in the first place.

Hinde kailangan ng provision ng take over ng private businesses dahil they are cooperating naman. Nag power tripping lang si duterte.

Stupid question pero sakop ba sila ng bgy? Like sa may makati med may squatters area dun na nakatakip. O may sarili silang bgy? Parang hirap mag regulate sa depressed areas

kung ang barangay sakop niya ang isang commercial area or middle class residential area and it just so happens may squatters area din ung lugar, kasama ung squatters area sa barangay na yan

Ka chat ko lang ang isang high school classmate ko now a nurse in Manhattan New York. It is now on lockdown and a ghost town as well. They lack the needed face masks and bonnets too. Pagdasal din natin sila.

gov't people simply lack imagination / foresight

when they wanted to lockdown NCR unang pumasok sa isip ko they have to let food deliveries in

it's unbelievable those gov't people didn't think of something so obvious that food manufacturers had to write a letter to DTI

basically the gov't is making rules / exceptions as issues arise

coz they have zero imagination they have to see things happen muna bago nila marealize

kasi diba the gov't wants people to stay home?

pero they still have to allow people to buy food

so to limit the number of people going out, they allow only 1 person per household to go out

kung sa bahay niyo, ikaw ung bibigyan ng quarantine pass coz other people in your house are seniors

pero since wala ka naman plano lumabas...

May nagpositive na sa barangay namin, just 1 km away from us. In fairness sa barangay namin, wala ako masabi coz i can tell they're doing the best they can with what little time and resources. Na impress din ako sa mga kapitbahay namin, nag mobilize on their own, looking after their neighbors. Sila na yung nagpuno sa hindi na kaya magawa ng barangay.

So yeah, LGUs, private companies at mismong mga citizens na nagtutulungan. Ano ng ambag ng national? Checkpoint pa din? Tapos hihingi ng emergency powers? Ang kapal din.
