Though the M.D.s in the family, convinced sila about TCM (Accupuncture) as a rehab measure for musculoskeletal pain & as a rehab measure for stroke survivors, and some TCM ingredients which are components of modern medicine. You have to fuse modern science to separate the trash from what is useful.

Unless you prefer to get a diagnosis from a "doctor" who just takes your pulse rate and asks you to stick your tounge out. Talo pa CT Scan MRI and ECG ah! May "Magic" eastern kung fu mysticsm... Oy, hindi yan dahil may medical supplies bus ako diyan sa Bambang ah!

And mind you Kags, even in CHINA, they only use TCM to support modern scientific medicine, (if it can't hurt the patient & the chemicals in the herbal treatments don't interfere with the modern drugs prescribed & the treatments, ok lang. But as a primary... forget it.

Uhm, chemicals are defined as any substance with a defined composition, so whether artificially mass produced in a lab, or decocted from natural ingredients (herbs, leaves etc,) they are chemicals...

would you know what type of medical practice does he does in that hospital?
is it western-type medicine, or the so-called traditional chinese medicine, or both?

we are aware that metro is a hospital with strong chinese ties.
if the pasyentes want chinese medicine, then chinese medicine it is.

by the same token,
a hospital in ncr has chiropractic practitioners who offer their type of healthcare, probably because there are folks that clamor for it.
