They now approve 2nd booster shot for 50 and up but I think they should have open it more for below 50 individual because my last booster shot was last December and 7 months had lapse.

experts say the vaccinee does havee some beneficial effect against the newer variant. it's not really that useless.

    they received the first booster.
    i am wondering,
why do they resist the second booster?

Officemate and his wife tested positive yesterday. My wife's results came back positive this morning. All are fully vaccinated and boostered. Flu-like symptoms.

Not only in the Philippines but many countries are underreporting new cases... Only reliable numbers now are ICU occupancy...

NCR Testing per day per 100k. In January, testing was as high as 400. During the delta surge (Aug 2021) NCR testing reached 300. Currently, testing has not risen above baseline levels of 100, as more people are using antigen tests. The number of cases is under-reported.

Mga may covid, self test, self isolate and self medications nalang. So hindi na naisasama sa official tally ng govt. Which means the actual numbers are way more than what is being reported.

Kaya like before, as long as hindi napupuno ang hospitals, there should be no cause for concern. Tuloy lang ang buhay.

    to answer my own question,

    in the beginning of covid,
there were local reports, accurate or otherwise, of victims literally dying on the streets, and/or long lines of patients in the hospital, awaiting admission, many of whom died while waiting.
today... la lang... parang trangkaso na lang...

    tama yung nag-cuento,
"kapag nasa matinding panganib ang buhay, lahat nang Santo ay tatawagin mo... nguni at pag lumipas na... si san miguel na lang ang nasa isip, at nasa lahbi..."

It's accurate because I experienced it myself. It was such a nightmare! Kahit may kilala ka pa sa hospital, unless you work there or major stockholder ka, wala talaga I PERSONALLY know people that went outside of MM just to get admitted or even look for oxygen! Sa GC namin sunod sunod kami nagka covid. Ako nga sa Pasig pa pinaka malapit kong waitlist but when they called na I can be admitted na e magaling na ko Third life ko na to (2nd was from my anaphylactic shock na my bp dropped na!)

Makes me wonder, people who got Omicron, nagi isolate pa ba as strictly as delta? Mga na delta kasi ABSOLUTELY no going out of the room and contact with other people. Food ko was left by the door and I will get it after nakalayo na, Everything is disposable. Yung clothes ko derecho babad sa sabon. 2 weeks ako hindi nakalabas ng room!

I have a few friends who had covid during the time of Delta, parang wala lang. Feels like ordinary flu. They just didn’t leave their house.

And Omicron is more transmissible than delta.

My test came back negative but I'm starting to feel mild symptoms. Isolate muna ang positive.
