these are common ingredients of many ordinary throat lozenges.
every single throat lozenge probably has at least one of these ingredients.

i personally have used these throat lozenges when i feel i am about to come down with something.
alas, in every single instance, i still came down with something.

the effect of these lozenges is probably only local, i.e., in the throat lining, to alleviate thee symptoms and grant comfort.

does its use affect testing?
i do not know.
they may have little significant effect beyond the throat lining.
