I got headache for 2 consecutive days now and a little bodyache..... no fever. I hope this is not covid related.

Nope I will just let it pass..... this is very similar on what I had experience during the omicron surge early January and the surge this mid August. I got sick during the past two surges but this one I don't have a fever.

    let us consume the perishables,
and leave the rest for your furriner friend, for when he comes back.

    huy! oxymeter!
in the 90s, that piece of electronic wonder would cost nearly a hundred thousing bucks.
yet, every other sour-geon got one, because of the danger of perishable patients in the operating room.

sinumulan na namin iyong canned goods and noodles kanina

re the oxymeter, the freebie was the cheap , battery operated kind. still, it's a serviceable replacement to the rechargeable oxymeter w/c i lent our japanese visitor w/c she inadvertently took home w/ her.

    in my opinion,
    we're not on a surge.
but we are very sensitive about little swings, because we don't know what it might just be heralding.

i think covid is inserting itself into our everyday lives, the same way the spanish flue of 1918 did, back then.
we will eventually get to live with it as part of the threats to daily living.

some years ago, a covid-infected person was someone to be very concerned over.

I personally think this is because of the removal of mask mandate outdoors.

after January 2022 omicron surge, pag tumataas ang official new cases ibig sabihin kumakalat talaga ang covid

coz ung mga nagpapa-PCR are only a small percentage of those with covid

majority ng nagkaka-covid ngayon di na nagpapa-PCR

either self antigen test or no test at all

so if official PCR numbers are rising, just imagine the true number of covid infections...
