ICYMI -- Saudi Province Lockdown - Population: 500k

"Saudi Arabia has imposed a temporary lockdown on the eastern Qatif province, an oil-producing region and home to a large Shiite Muslim population, to prevent the spread of coronavirus after 11 people there were infected."

"The Saudi interior ministry said in a statement Sunday that no one would be allowed to enter or exit Qatif and that work at all public and private sectors in the province had been suspended with the exception of institutions providing necessary services."

ung mga local cases na medyo bata pa they'll be discharged soon

it's the older ones and those with pre-existing medical conditions who may not get out of the hospital alive

    EEEkkk...

3 of 24 COVID-19 patients from Quezon City, says Belmonte | News | GMA News Online

She said one of the cases is Patient 10 who is 57 years old and has no travel history. She already announced it Monday.

"Nagsimula na kami ng intensive contact tracing sa kanya dahil maaga naming nalaman na meron siyang sakit. So far, 'yung kanyang mga kasama sa tahanan ay na-swab na namin at nainterview na rin namin. Wala silang mga sintomas pero sinumite natin ang kanilang mga sample sa RITM (Research Institute for Tropical Medicine)," she said.

Another COVID-19 case lives in a condominium in Timog Avenue area.

"'Yung sa second batch, ito yung matatagpuan sa Timog area, sa isang condominium sa Quezon City. Siya 'yung nasa 30s, currently confined in a hospital outside Quezon City," she said.

The mayor said they have already disinfected the condominium building and they will start interviewing her contacts this morning.

"Nadisinfect na namin 'yung condo building and this morning we will begin intervierwing 'yung kanyang kapatid na dumating kaninang madaling araw kaya hindi namin naabutan," she said.

The third case belongs to the batch announced by President Rodrigo Duterte Monday night. The patient is 50 years old, a resident of Project 6, and went to Switzerland recently.

"Ito 'yung kagabi lang binangit ng Pangulo kaya I didn't have that much time to investigate this individial. Ang alam ko siya ay taga-Project 6, may travel history sa Switzerland, in his 50s," she said.

    heh heh.
This summer where water interruptions are common, toilet paper may indeed be indispensable.

Same with washing plates, spoon/fork and cups. It will lessen the need for water kasi.

yeah limited info nga lang, though it's for trial purposes pa lang din naman. Hopefully manufacturing it would be not as difficult as well. That is a crucial info that must also be addressed. How fast can it be produced once found to be effective.

meanwhile, the ceres negros football club and the bali united football club afc cup fixture will be held behind closed doors later tonite at the rizal memorial football stadium. sarap pa naman sana panoodin iyan kasi bakbakan talaga.
