Good news : Canada has a vaccine in testing phase.
Bad news : it could take up to a year to be available.

All pharmas have to do testing. If there are side effects.. the FDA will bankrupt them.

people in the industry are hilong-hilo at the lightning speed by which these new test kits and vaccines are being designed...
it normally takes many tedious years, from zero-scratch to mercury drug...so very many requirements, every step and half-step of the way...

we must be really really scared at the covid-19...
it has the potential to emulate the spanish flu of 1918...

I remember a vaccine being hurried by US skipping some of the phases. I just can't remember what was it or if its a movie I'm remembering.

covid 19 is just 2-3% mortality. hindi naglalayo sa ibang virus. but its ability to spread like wildfire is amazing.
the projected deaths are big, because the projected morbidities are huge.

I'm not a dr. but a quick history check would show that the spanish flu is very diff from the covid 19.
One big diff was that the spanish flu did not distinguish between old or young. The young previously healthy infected patients died just as quickly as the old or very young ones.

    you are correct , po.
i was refering to the big number of fatalities brought about by the spanish flu, and the projected big number of covid 19 fatalities. nothing more.
i was commenting that this huge number of projected deaths, was the impetus to the mad rush to developing new diagnostic tests and vaccines ...

Gov. Cuomo says NY has most coronavirus cases in US, new cases jump 30%

New York’s “numbers are spiking because our testing capacity is going up,” Cuomo said, adding New Yorkers will see 1,000 more cases next week.

ang safe dito eh kung may sarili ka island tapos walang labasan wala din papasok. Malas mo na lang kung pati ibon na dadapo sa island mo eh pwede pala carrier ng n-ko-vi.

same thing pag sa farm ka hectare acre tapos same wala labasan wala papasok.

may tumawag sa akin taga condominium nagtatanong saan bibili alcohol. Sinabihan ko magtimpla ka na lang ng agua oxinada tapos parts of water iresearch mo online yung ratio or maghanap ka nagtitinda ng dishwashing liquid kasi meron benta mga hand sanitizer yun. Tinanong ako kung nagaalcohol ba ako sabi ko hindi hand wash lang perla kasi made of coconut oil yun na anti-virus. Basta made of coconut oil ang soap maganda anti-virus.

Paranoid mga taga condo ngayon gumamit elevator. Eh hirap din magfire exit hagdanan paano kung mataas floor.

    QUIET CHINA
Written by a Chinese Pastor sent to a brother in Istanbul via friends in Singapore

The hustle and bustle of China finally quieted down, the restless society finally calmed down, and the restless Chinese people gradually calmed down.

The *Wild Animals* that were once held by humans in cages finally managed to *Keep Humans in "Cages"*

Humans finally lowered their proud head and begun to think quietly:
Are we still the king of the earth?

*Mankind finally felt the power of Nature once again*

In the face of the threat of death, human beings have only begun to reflect seriously, only to realize that a lack of awe-inspiring social atmosphere will lead to more harm and more risks.

The greedy heart is being purified by the virus, and the mouth that loves to eat is being punished by the virus. The people who have been soaking in the bright red and green places all day have been driven home by the virus, saying.... *Go home*

There are fewer and fewer people on the street, few cars on the road,

*The Air is getting Fresher...., the Haze is gone..., the Sky is getting Bluer...., the Sun is getting Brighter...., Family Lives are getting Warmer, Harmonial, and Cordial and People's hearts have become more and more Calm*

People who haven’t read for Years have picked up books at home. Parents and children who had no communication with their children, couples who couldn’t speak few words a year have opened up the conversation box. Children who did not know how to respect the elderly has also begun to be filial.

The virus taught human beings a vivid and profound lesson. It made us understand awe. It also let us know what is called *"Good Times"*.

It also made us feel true love on earth. It made us gradually fall in love *"Return to the Road"*, we really should be grateful for this *"Enemy"*, we need such an "enemy" to give us *Reminder"* and give us *"Empowerment"*

The virus will not leave so quickly, it needs to see the *"Cultivation" of human's good habits*, and the virus will not continue to rag, because *Human love will gather more power* to keep the virus away, time will tell us everything, Time will also prove what is right.

*_THE VIRUS 🦠 REMINDED US THERE IS AN ALMIGHTY.

    AND HUMANS ARE JUST HUMANS._*
