China CCP with all its might and power and money and who claims to be "on top of things", isn't that well prepared either. Even the big hospitals there, are now so overwhelmed. I pray this does not happen here in our beloved country, because we are really less equipped than them. Crossing my fingers.

They’re a permanent member of the UN Security Council, so they can really throw their weight & influence around. They even barred Taiwan from participating in the WHO on these matters. They did the same during the SARS outbreak.
To think that the doctors & epidemiologists in Taiwan have had a very good track record so far in fighting and managing crises like these. Their input would have been invaluable.
It’s a global fight, but inuuna pa ang politika.

Currently... wala!!!! [emoji23] I'm not gonna be their lackey! Ewan ko lang sa iba kung bakit loyal sila sa china eh kung dito naman na sila pinanganak. Imagine lsng naman sila na maka China, second class citizen din sila doon. Eh di punta na lang silang China and surrender PH citizenship.

I was supposed to post this on the "This is Funny" thread (para maiba naman):
Overheard ko yesterday:
"P*cha, mas nakakahiya pa umubo at mahatsing in public ngayon kesa UMUTOT!"![]()
Nasaan na kaya yun nag protest na magisa sa chinese embassy na sinulatan kotse niya ng "f*ck you China!"?

It is easy to be blind to the transgressions of others, especially if they're family or friends. So a lot of those with Chinese blood probably feel they still owe something to China and thus feel sympathy for the motherland. But then there are those with Chinese ancestry who can see through the veil of goodness and benevolence that China CCP is just pretending to be. I call them the enlightened Chinese. And yes, they exist in the Philippines. "Chinoys" who know what China is doing is wrong. Sir Shadow is probably one of those.
Remember, it was because of the communists that a lot of Chinese at that time left the motherland. These Chinese migrated to different countries, one of them being the Philippines. Last I heard, the communists are still in power. No love lost.
Japan wants to stay on the good side of Beijing. They haven't barred travelers from the whole China or required 14 day quarantine period for them yet. The domestic transmission cases are those involved with the tourism industry.

As a Filipino, we fully embrace you [emoji23] Hinay hinay lang sa pagka racist
I'm guilty of that as wellwith this kind of President and government, nakakahiya maging Filipino
Pero maraming talagang Filipinos who claim Spanish or Chinese blood, bihira ang magsasabi na pure Filipino sila
