Nabigla yata sila sa work nila… ngayon tad2 sila sa trabaho dahil pandemic straight for 1+ years…

but it's not mass vaccination during the surge that caused cases to fall

it takes time for vaccine protection to kick in

those who got vaccinated during the surge didn't suddenly become covid-proof

and people still test positive kahit vaccinated

during the peak of India'a surge less than 3% of their population were vaccinated... now it's 11%

very far from Israel's vaccination rate but Israel is experiencing a surge

vaccine doesn't affect number of cases coz vaccine doesn't prevent infection

swab pcr test will still detect sarscov2 RNA in your nose even if you're fully vaccinated

what vaccine affects is number of deaths

if you're looking at a graph you'll see upward slope (cases) and a flat line (deaths)

personally,
knowing correctly what we are up against, usually results in more victories on our part.

i am a strong believer that if everybody did what is expected of them, i.e., a honest practising of PPE and social distancing and other health practices, even if no one is watching, and voluntary surrender to quarantine authorities when they feel they might be harboring the virus,
and humane and comfortable treatment ("attractive treatment") by quarantine authorities for covid victims that do not need serious hospitalization,
we can probably considerably slow down and reverse the march of the virus.

i personally feel that if we were to make it a pleasurable or comfortable experience in being quarantined,
more folks would come out into the open and agree to be quarantined.

i personally believe we have adequate facilities for conversion into quarantine facilities.
the problem is perhaps the un-willingness or in-ability of some quarters to convert these existing facilities into quarantine facilities.

my opinion.

"sometimes, it is not the lack of facilities that make opening of covid care facilities possible. rather, it is the lack of trained personnel to man them."

if we make it not-a-hassle to be quarantined,
that the place is comfortable, and the food is good,
and that one can always contact one's loved ones by cellphone..
eh baka mag-sikuhan ang mga nais magpa-quarantine.

... no one will feel they are being sentenced to the gulag archipelago.

i wonder,
is the rizal memorial sports stadium along vito cruz in manila, functional as a quarantine facility? how're the facilities? how many "inmates"? the food?

i think,
part of the confusion is the use of too many letters and numbers of various combinations.

if the original designers of the nomenclature had ease of understanding and remembrance in mind,
then i must emphatically accuse them that they failed miserably in their objectives at ease of remembrance.

A few loud ones here kasi nagalit before sa “fear-mongering” daw ng OCTA and media. Suggestion of the the few is tumahimik na raw ang OCTA amd media from projecting the numbers and new variants.
Pati nga itsura ng mga octa people pinagtawanan. Parang style ni duts.
Ang hindi nila alam is OCTA gets their numbers from DOH!! And they just do their statistics based on them!!
Then lumalabas ngayon na all along is tama ang projections nila!

Mali ang sinisi nila sa pandemic na ito. They’re shooting at the messenger lang and not the source of all these palpak response - Dutae and his government!.
-ECQ/GCQ pero pangit na quarantine facilities
-kulang ayuda pero tuloy ang dolomite beach
-kulang sa free testing pero tinira pa ang Red Cross
-corruption sa DOH & DBM sa overpriced masks and faceshields pero tinira pa itsura ng senators. Dinefend pa chinese friend nya.
- hindi binigay HCW benefits kahit may budget pero slashed budgets pa ang PGH at RITM sa 2022 at patayo ng monument para sa HCW
- corruption in overpriced Sinovac vaccines! Bili ni duts is 700 per dose pero in other countries it’s only $5
