DOH has a software connected sa hospitals but they dont use it daw. Ngayon lang sila nagtatanong how to use it[emoji1750]
Kaya may disconnect talaga ang DOH sa real hospitalization data.

someone tried to paint me a scenario.
i do not know just how accurate it is.

some hospitals may have the mandated percentage number of beds reserved for covid patients,
but they remain un-occupied, because the hospital may not have the requisite number of trained personnel and/or equipment, to operate and man them.
one can only imagine how the mis-interpretation of these data can wreak havoc on the statistics.

also, it is suspected that some of these patients seen in queue, may not be confirmed covid patients requiring hospitalization. they might be covid patients that may be deemed "home-quarantine-able" once evaluated by the health care professional, to be eventually sent home. they might be patients awaiting covid confirmation.
or they might be ordinary non-covid patients seeking professional care and/or hospital admission.
let us remember that for many folks, the living situation in their own homes may not be ideal for covid asymptomatics to remain in, while they recover.
let us remember that the number of non-covid patients has not diminished dramatically, since covid.
