AZN hasn't yet recommended a booster shot for their vaccine?

In a study of more than 50,000 patients in the Mayo Clinic Health System, researchers found the effectiveness of Moderna’s vaccine against infection had dropped to 76% in July — when the Delta variant was predominant — from 86% in early 2021. Over the same period, the effectiveness of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine had fallen to 42% from 76%, researchers said.

In a separate study, elderly nursing home residents in Ontario produced stronger immune responses — especially to worrisome variants — after the Moderna vaccine than after the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine.

The elderly may need higher vaccine doses, boosters, and other preventative measures, said Anne-Claude Gingras of the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute in Toronto, who led the Canadian study.

When asked to comment on both research reports, a Pfizer spokesperson said, “We continue to believe… a third dose booster may be needed within 6 to 12 months after full vaccination to maintain the highest levels of protection.”

Paano i-trace kung hinde alam yun name and address?

Paano ginagawa ngayon ng mga contact tracer kung meron nag positve? Saan nila kinukuha yun details ng positve?

Ano difference pag sa lab pa lang eh trace na nila pag labas ng result sa ginagawa nila ngayon?

the important information are available to those who need them.

if such information are available to several offices,
one can only imagine the amount of finger-pointing, and possible duplicate work, should the un-imaginable arise.
tasking the testing laboratory with additional responsibility, necessitates additional work from an already over-worked staff.
let us leave the testing laboratory to do what it does best.
    my thoughts only.

    besides,
    from what i see,
releasing such information isn't the rate-limiting step.
the contract tracers' end appears, to me, to be the rate-limiting step.

Not the labs who will do it but the contact tracers of the state.

the testing facility knows reactive or non-reactive.
but it does not know the details.
it can not point to the contact tracers whom to visit.

    from what i understand,
the positives are advised by responsible authority to contact their LGUs, who will have a chat with these positives, and will generate the list of possible people the contact tracers have to visit.
